Non-custom measured in place passives are a bad idea.  WAY too much work on your install to do that.

I actually do take it easy on you.  You always take conversations personally and emotionally which makes it hard to have a productive conversation so I greatly limit my criticism.  Figured if I posted in here you'd not see it as pooping on your thread but trying to help.  Of course, what you see as me not being easy on you in other comments is also me trying to help.

Case and point.  Your Ford install.  As with ANY install be it home, car, boat the first thing you decide on are mounting locations.  THEN you can start shopping for drivers.  In your case this was done in reverse.  That will never lead to an optimal install.

well here is my problem ... Insurance totaled my truck after the hail storm, I'm getting it painted, but I can not insure the truck for anything but liability. So I have no insurance on contents and will be pulling everything soon since the truck is no good to me any more and will be sold soon.

So wil all this work i'm doing to the car, buying the wife a new car cause hers got totaled too, AND find me another truck to pull this Ford ... I have no money to buy stareo equipment. So I have to work with what I've got. Did I also mention that i'm paying for one kid to go to college and one will be there in 2 years ?? I wish I had your kind to money so I could just buy whatever I wanted ...

It personally think its pretty shitty myself. The guy obviously has a budget and that budget includes sponsorship which helps pay for his product. He's already said he's open to adjusting what what he has to work with.

Its kinda like you have the newest model mustang cobra and a young kid as excited about talking to you about his 1999 v6 but he gets mocked because its not up to par. A little humility goes a long way.
