Bottom one is a bit overly processed too, but when trying to fix something that isn't stellar in the first place that happens.

He was in the only shadow. Lol typical kid shots.

You did everything right. Light was on subject not behind him.

When you talk about kids being the toughest, it's the truth. When documenting a birthday for a wonderful young autistic boy in a dim restaurant I took 400 pics or so and ended up with 30-40 ok, and about 10 WOW pictures. No flash so I didn't scare anyone or distract the action. He won't sit for a camera and if he does sit, he isn't smiling.

:-)

40d for $260?

A lot of body for that, but I'd buy a lens.

You mean that's a good price for the body? I'm trying to get an understanding of what a good deal really is.

Also its hard to shop for a lens and all the ones you listed come in around $700

You referenced a budget of around $500.  Should net you a $700 lens used with a rather old body.

True, I cant even find one though selling for that low currently.

May be able to nab a 40D with a 50 1.8 II prime for sub $300 with 10 months left on a square trade warranty.

You built that? Not refinished, but built from flat prices of wood that you cut, arranged, and fit together?

That is really awesome!!!! Casters are weird, but unique. Inspires me to do something similar.

Way to go!

Every joint in my body is rebelling against me and has decided to be in pain.

Specifically an ankle I rolled yesterday that didn't hurt, but this morning is made out of broken glass electric sparks.

This is pretty much what I started with after taking the lumber to my boss' house to use his miter and table saw.

On a seperate topic the job hunt resumes. It is appearing as if something thing went fucked up. Nothing on my end, but on someone's. I hate to say it, but I feel scammed. This, is a feeling I never tend to take well unfortunately.

Must be. Typo....

If you plug 29 into the equation it doesn't work.

So cool Mike!

Was this from a build book or did you design it too?

Impressive either way.

768 holes drilled in the bumper and countersunk. Time to primer them and after I get back from the roadtrip and finish up the bumper I'll send it in for powdercoating :)

It's basically looking as if the man putting the hustle behind the muscle is full of shit. Again, kinda stuck on saying much else at the moment.
