Live and learn. I was so concerned over blurring to motion that dof i didn't worry about too much.

Of the 2 options you made the right one. You could have had a tripod, but even then, without a remote, it's still not ideal.

Used the 50 right?

Didn't even bring it. Brought the walkaround 18-270 and the Tokina 11-16. Shot most of the trip with the wide angle.

I had to balance shutter speed, lack of light, glare off the water, and of course moving on a boat/train/train/bus. Just wish I had played with developing digital pictures before the trip. Doh.gif

I did shoot some pictures by setting the camera on a ledge and such. Then I use a 2 second timer for the shutter since I don't have a remote. For instance, this 15 second exposure. smile.png

I got better shots of the boat, but the rest have less of the museum which you can see highlights the lack of light. Can't tell in that pic though.

/\ again, should have bumped the fstop up to 13-16 instead of 11 but it is pretty sharp everywhere anyways.

All these pictures are making me regret not having saved any money these past years towards a backpacking trip in Europe.

Picture doesn't show how close we were as I couldn't get an angle then, but this fucker was coming up our ass.

I lost out on all of that. I probably won't get to travel until my golden years.

My priorities are museums, cathedrals, other ingenious architecture, and visiting places that look cool. I'd like to see and live how other parts of the world do.

We didn't have a honeymoon.

My wife is really lucky in some ways, but I have really effed her over in other ways. She deserves a trip.

Blue sky or gray sky?

StockholmBoatGraySky_zpsdd3b306a.jpg

And yeah, I know I overdid the blue but I only downloaded Lightroom this morning so I know not of what I am doing.

Blue, unless you are going to blow it up so big it is grainy. Grey's look cool blown up IMHO, blues look like yuk.

Loving light room? I hope it my review and rec lives up to the hype I gave it.

I'm using it for free atm.

Don't pay. PM me and I'll get it opened up for you.

Got the fuel pump wiring harness spliced back together on the Buick, wasn't to hard.  Got the car running in short order unfortunately didn't have electricity for a soldering job but splices and liquid tape sealant and taping them up out of the way.
