Found some shoes and a tie to go with her dress.

Issue now is that my damn jacket and pants seemed small. Went in to at least match new pants with jacket, no dice. Got black pants to go with it. I'll post a pic tomorrow and see how badly I am doing here.

Just not enough spare cash for a new suit right now.

J

I've been busy bit trying to keep up. I got a $200 works suit from Jos A Bank and spent about $60-$80 at a good tailor to get it fitted just right and I love it. It doesn't match the material of my $150 dress pants but it is nice.

PS do they make wool khakis or similar? I love my grey dress pants but all my khakis are just cotton. I prefer the feel of the woolies.

The plan has been to go see Jos A Bank or men's warehous sometime soon when it's a buy one get one sale and get a new suit or two, and some other things.

I just want to know that my closet will be filled with clothes to be prepared for almost any occasion.

J

The works collection is $200 daily. The rest are normally around $800 and there best deals are buy 1 get 3 free. However, I don't see any reason to buy 4 suits at one time myself. But, I think that you can go in with a friend and each get 2 as long as they are of similar price.

Hmmm I'll have to take time and go look soon. I may not 'need' 4 suits, but if 3 are free it's rather hard to beat.

Or pickup a Boss quality suit from Nordstrom Rack. Sign up for a Nordstrom direct removal from your bank account card and get free tailoring.

As in Hugo Boss? That's who makes the suit I have out grown and need to let go. Got it band new for about 20 bucks at a goodwill. It had never been altered.

I got a call from a manager in Germany, they offered me nearly double my current pay. This is WAY over what I expected, so it looks like my daily commute will go up from 10-15 minutes to 35-40

20 people total, 7 in this location, vacation skiing in Austria.

I damn nearly fell of my chair when I heard the number.

Congrats on the offer brother. As Sean said perhaps a counter offer is in need, could always mention cost of commute and needing to go an extra bit.

Stick it in the ash tray or glove box. Whenever you need to run or demo just give it a twist.

Put it on a pull and lock knob under the dash. It would be similar to what we have on our Hummers.

That is what we are talking about. But an 18 wheeler is on a screw knob so throttle can be Infinantly adjusted.

Boss suits are put together really well. List for $600-800 and regularly can be had at the Rack for $300 with quality that will outlast everything else being discussed here by a mile.

I buy Boss dress pants since they are the only ones slim enough for me. $100 a pop (at the Rack) but with free tailoring and for the quality it's a steal. Have to spend at least $400 on a pair of custom pants to be even close.

The jacket is 42L (could prolly use a 46L as was suggested last night) and it says Corleone /Catania

Hopefully that gives some help.

I love the feel. Once cash quits being as much of an issue It's new suit time.

Oh, and J don't take whatever suit in your "size" as they vary a shit ton from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Goal is to find a jacket that doesn't require much tailoring. Should allow you to move your arms in the shoulders but NOT bunch at all in the back. Waist should let you breathe and move, but be as fitted as possible. Sleeves vary in length, but normally showing a little of your shirt is appropriate.
