I might do the miso Monday at sushi 7.

All I can eat is sushi is a dangerous thing.

Sean where did you go? And once again, you didn't invite. Though I understand I was killing an interview.

Basically take the Ford V8 out of our XC90 and put in a 3.2L inline 6 and you have the car.  Ours has been stellar.

I did read horror stories on the growing pains of the transition time when Ford bought Volvo in the late 90's and as with any new vehicle platform there are growing pains.  Seems by the mid to late 2000's those were taken care of.  They do seem to have issues with new technology incoming as well.  Conveniently the XC60 was first sold in 2008.  Basically the guts haven't changed since.

The Hyundai was released 6 months ago.  I am hugely opposed to first model year cars.  Of course, I get to put out post production fires for a living.  Some are shocking...

Actually, the Volvo V8 is a Yamaha engine.

That is like calling the V6 SHO a Yamaha engine.  Ford/Yamaha partnership that Ford yanked when the chinese bought Volvo from them.

It is a Yamaha engine. They're designed and built by Yamaha, so they're Yamaha engines. The Volvo is the same. I could see if Ford had a hand in the design and/or build, but they did not, so I can not call it a Ford.

I have been bitten by the cooking bug lately, last night was my first lasagna ever... Heavy cream, Parmesan and Romano cheese, nutmeg, garlic white sauce with buttery spinach and lightly fried peperoni (gotta get the grease out of it) layers between the noodles and topped with 2 cups mozzarella, sliced Roma tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Damn folks it was really, really good.
With fresh noodles it becomes way better. Also try a dried sausage of some sort instead of the pepperoni. Pepperoni is this blasphemous retardation of something that is naturally awesome.
I'm having a hard time processing the concept that pepperoni is NOT awesome. Maybe some time in the future when I grow as a person I can accept these words you typed, but for now I'm just not strong enough... (not that I'm not willing to try fresh noodles and dried sausage instead of pepperoni, because I am)
There is a reason we are about the only country in the world that eats pepperoni. It isn't because the pork and the spices that are in it are bad either. Just our chemical lazy way of manufacturing and not being able to deal with a real slow cure. That being said I have seen boutique pepperoni that is made correctly and fuck yeah, it's awesome. All the greazy nasties go away when produced right, the flavors develop further and all around there are no negatives. One hint to a good one. You'll have to cut it yourself and the outside of it won't look savory.

I fry it lightly in a pan to extract the grease and blot with half a dozen paper towels, glad to read there is much better available, but curing takes time and time is money so I wouldn't be surprised to learn the US uses chemicals to do it cheap and fast- the main problem with chicken.  My food budget is pretty limited these days, but I'll have to keep a look out for "real" pepperoni.

I am sure that even your big box grocery has something like this:

http://www.igourmet...._Sel&cprod=6038

While not "pepperoni" you'll find it is a yummy alternative.  Superb on pizza btw.

Thank you for this! I've had authentic Italian sausage, salumi, and pepperoni and they do not compare to ANYTHING commercially available. I normally just eat food, but with these, it was an experience.

For the Volvo, Ford owned it and pulled it away. The SHO sat on a Ford bottom end.

I'm addicted to it. Tons of variety to choose from. Usually a couple in my fridge.

Monday I'll be eating sushi in CA.

Osaka on 394. They might really hate us if we go together. I'm gone next week but back the following. $14.95, lol

They sort of cater to the crowd that only eats conventional, but was happy to oblige me sitting at the bar and gave me tako, saba, unagi, & ika. Was almost shocked I wanted them and even more so that I ordered them in Japanese. Ate their Monday with my mom too. That's when I found out about their "buffet".

Wanted some Ikura, but forgot as they obviously don't keep it in the window.

Wish they'd put that 8 in something else though. Does rather well in the Noble M600.

Ha, I'm 6'7". I just thought it was funny buying a 20" to get in shape. If you want to pedal for that purpose I'd want gears.

Well I got my first Job in June as well so buying a new Bike wasn't a priority as saving for a car was...Riding the 20" Bike itself wasn't the bad part it was people watching made me feel very awkward

I'm hoping to get at least to 6'3 reasonable height to me, I'm only 18 so 3 more years to grow!

As for the bottom end, I could be wrong, but that is what I was told when it was being developed.

The V8 in the 3rd gen car was half Ford, half Yamaha. They still do a lot of heads for Toyota, but I'm pretty sure that's because they both own a large percentage of stock in each other.
