That's a sexy Volvo.  Looks like  BMW and a Benz had a really well behaved child together, and sent it to audi for a nice outfit and shoes.

Does it hustle?

I'd like to chime in on the wheels.  If you have stock OEM wheels, they are always a better solution than aftermarket reproductions.  The OEM standards are so high, that they are always going to be a stronger wheel.  There's a reason the repros are lighter.  That's obviously not everything, but I bring it up since Sean mentioned the weight.

I think $400 for paint is very reasonable.  You're basically getting a brand new set of OEM wheels for $400.  You simply can't compete with that price. You're not paying for shipping expenses, they can be painted without removing the tires so you avoid dismount/remount/rebalance fees,  you're contributing to your local economy, and if you need repairs or problems arise, you can simply take your issue to the painter.

Oe ford wheels perhaps.  Oe gm wheels are crap.  Tons leaking all over.

Hey, you just said you'd probably own one.  You said nothing of driving it.

The wings add drag.  A bullet train is a better design.  In fact, if Elon can get his shot together and put those trains in a vacuum or close to it, that would actually be a realistically good way to handle mass transit.   I just have my personal doubts that it will work.

I used to.  It's been years though.  No time unfortunately.  I took lessons for many years.  I still suck.

Is there any "inexpensive" ways into that sport?

Used clubs are SUPER cheap.

Do you have a large college close by?  They usually have sales at the end of the year where kids don't want to take shit back home with them.  You find stuff super cheap.  Notre Dame does it every year, and I've heard many other colleges do.  IF not, scour Craigslist, or even a local pro shop.    I got a $1500 set of Pings with only 10 rounds on them several years ago for $500.  You don't need anything fancy until you start to get better, so don't fall for the special club BS.  You can even get some cheap shit at Walmart or something for like $200.

Find some buds to play with or hit some 9 hole courses to get acclimated, and progress towards 18 holes and progressively tougher courses.    Make sure you warm up and stretch before playing also.  You'll quickly find you have some muscles you weren't aware were not getting enough usage.

Also, invest in a good pair of shoes.  I prefer ones with interchangeable spikes, but they aren't necessary.  They will help with different courses and terrain as well as different weather.  Your feet need to be the most comfortable part for golf, IMO.  They get a workout and are the basis for your pillar.

We are get drilled with more storms..main threat is lightning really..more is suppose to move in early in the morning..And the earth is expected to get a geomagnetic storm July 23rd..And does anybody remember where I was mentioning about that the New Madrid fault has predictions from researchers on a quake comparable to the 1811 and 1812 quakes? Coincidental huh? Look at Hawaii..And the geysers in Yellowstone crazy stuff happening..The rotation of the Earth has slowed down a millisecond..Might not sound like much but it is.
