Oh FUNN!! Any mods planned?

Ha, already taken apart.  Mostly usability mods, not performance.  I want to ride it stock for the beginning of the year to see if I am going to snowcheck next year or keep it.  Should be a hoot, but it is REALLY similar to my modified IQR.

Not when one can re-coop purchase cost after a year or two of use, if obtained for a good price initially.

I sold my 14 for what I paid for it to the dollar.  I wasn't really ready to sell but when I saw the prices I had no choice.  Felt really stupid I didn't buy a different one last spring as it probably would have saved me $800.

Speaking of cheeses made a wicked awesome creamy Tuscan garlic chicken over noodles last week. Stupid tasty.

Think I found my taste buds maximum allotted amount of prosciutto and parmesan in the Carbonara.  6 ounces of prosciutto and 10 ounces of Parmesan, to half a pack of noodles. Holy faulk.

Got to thank you again for the suggestion on that one Matt.  Is one of the W's favorite meals.

Picked up a Kyocera ceramic paring knife to try out.  I thought it'd be sharper than my steel knives.

If you don't sharpen the steel ones.

That being said, I don't want a sharp paring knife.  Somewhat dull is better since it touches my thumb a ton.  I rarely do true hand held paring though and for all other knife work the 10" chef's does the job.  Paring is nearly exclusively used for peeling apples for the kids.  I can do that with the 10"er but when it touches my skin I bleed and it sort of has to.

That and the ceramic has no real feel.  I don't quite get them.

Its getting returned.  I was playing with it for a thought of a gift, seems rather delicate and I don't like how it cuts.  I cut almost everything with the 10" chefs knife here.  Wife does get frustrated using other people's knives though, she finds them dull.

Although my sharpening sucks, at least they are mildly passable.
