Really want to buy a descent desktop PC for Lightroom. 

Any places to look. I wouldn't mind ordering all the parts myself and building, but don't want to spend a bunch of time piecing it together.

......I build them.  You care about drive speed and processing power.

 

Go for a lot of cores.  Up to about 8.  Even then it's over kill.

 

Look at linus tech tips and Anand tech.  Opposite end of research ends but the reliable book ends.  I like water cooling for stable speeds but air will be fine.

Biggest speed increase I've ever noticed was a solid state drive upgrade.  

The IBuyPower desktops seem to be a good bang for the buck, I've got one at the house that has been running for 2? years now with no issues.

That won't help you with Lightroom and building a machine is 1/2 the cost for 2 times the powa

Grand Cherokee Summit or SRT. Base models suck, but the fit and finish on the Summit and SRT are stellar. Harman Kardon tunes is a nice bonus. The SRT is the Hemi version!! But the V6 in the summit is plenty powerful. I cant say 0% interest and lifetime warranty suck either.

I would think they might as well be considered a European company at this point. lol
