Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Last years was a Lotus 61.

Location of weight is the easiest with a stick body.  Our track isn't very vertical so you have to weight where it can still go down hill for a bit. ;)

What's your boys favorite vehicle, character, etc.

Is aero a huge factor?

Got the best of both worlds. I got a new EF 50 1.4 that someone got for Christmas for a used price.

Sorry we were down there for a little while, something server side.  Since our web designer has been pretty much MIA for a year, it took me a little longer to sort it out.

Have to balance that and trying to win, lol. Something with the least amount of material is good.  Exactly why I did a lotus 61 last year

As the resident older Merc junkie, I can weight in a little on that one Ryan linked as it is in over all decent shape.  But from experience, east coast that is, the two doors, especially non-convertable ones that were dark colors and large chrome wheels were usually owned by people who couldn't really afford to take care of the car properly and were more worried about looking cool.  So it would be worth looking at, but the love and care parts might be a sore spot based on ones I've looked at over the years between NY and VA.

I hate to say this, but if it had a small block, I'd be on my way to pick it up already.

The 500's are a nice engine, not really a mega power piece, but smooth and fairly durable overall that I have seen.  I think, from that period, those V8's were some of the longest lasting they have made.

Sean, what was the name of that AMAZING resteraunt shop in Paris.  My assistant manager is going to Paris with his W and kids, so any tips? .  He is such a foodie dork when he moved to mpls he based the location entirely on how he reviewed restaurants. Picolo, Travail, etc

Im going to give him my steve books for sure too.

As I am not an expert, are there any mattress experts in here?  I was looking at natural latex, it felt pretty sweet when I laid down on it.  I don't think I want another spring mattress again.  The way I am built, just too many pressure points, and that really hurts the few hours of sleep I attempt to get each night.  The draw back of the natural latex was $1200 on sale.  :(

Matt is your man.

Wondering if I need a new one too.  Going on my 5th day in a row waking up with a migraine or nasty headache.

Well, maybe not an expert, but I know something about them.

I dont have a latex product and I wouldnt recommend them as a first choice.  I have problem whith the product but if you didn't put >$3000 for it, I would be nervous of the overal quiality of the company/product.  At that price your really deep into some incredible spring beds and hybrid beds, or Tempurpedic.

I have owned and been happiest with Kinsdown.  The family that owned the brand sold i thing... Either way they beds are not the glory they used to be.  I wanted to buy a Tempurpedic, but i couldnt justify the cost at the time.  I was also heavier and the tempur I needed to support my weight was >3x the cost of the Simmons that I chose.  Im more likely to buy something new on a whim also.  Or if a rep wanted to bribe me ive heard beds fall off trucks.....

;-)

Starting in your neck?  If so it would be pillow.... And as you found out, I am less of a pillow magician than maybe expected.

When you come in to look for beds, I will show you how to use your pillow to reduce neck stress.  It may not cute ya, but it will be a step in the right direction.
