I was going to buy the neighboring house $18k and tear it down $5k-$10, but after looking in the cost and how much the empty lot is worth $23K. I am sticking to building on my lot.

I figure I need 3 10x10 car doors and on man door. Not sure about a window yet.

 

I am going to get some prices from the amish and go from there, no smaller than 32x40, but I may go longer depending on price.

 

Bigger is always better!!

Yea, it is in very rough shape and a terrible layout. Not to mention the basement has been full of water on two occasions that I know of.

Kicking around building a garage. I am thinking 32x40x10 should give me enough room to park 3 cars and have a nice work area.

 

Got to check with the borough today before anything gets in motion.

 

Sounds killer! Great place to play, for sure.

 

Knowing you, that garage would have an embedded lift, a rum safe, and 911 framed posters.

 

Sounds about right...

18k can buy you upwards of 10 acres here

 

23K an acre where I live, but north of me ~ 30 miles there was a 100 acre plot for $110,000.

It would, but not what I would have in buying, demo, and combining the deeds.

 

If I can build a garage I would add more value to my property along with selling appeal if I ever sell it.

That is a valid point, but like I told my wife if that is the case we can sell and move out of town where our closest neighbor is through the trees and not 50 feet away.

Doing a recruitment meeting to get back one of the guys I trained.

He left due to some personal issues the day after I trained him. Went on to be the best sales person at one of competition. Our/my training is so much better he just crushes it.

It would be cool to get this guy back.
