I'm looking to improve lighting in one of the garages. Currently it has windows above the door, on the entire width of the garage. I'm going to add fluorescent lights on all corners. 

 

The ceiling is raw wood, would I gain anything if I covered the ceiling in white, shiny fiberboard?

Fuck yes, but I'd just paint it white.  It will make a HUGE difference with reflection and make it significantly brighter.

Get a couple gallons of white and start painting.  Even painting table backers in my shop white instead of having plain plywood makes a noticeable difference in the way the things look.  White paint and some T5 HO lights are your friend.

Any white material would gain you a shit load. I wouldn't use real glossy finishes unless its heavily textured. Even then any reflection will be full of glare.

I wouldn't waste time with covering it thought unless you also want to insulate. A couple halogen work lams from the ceiling do wonders. I use the plug in painters kind. Then if I have to move them I can. Just run wire for outlets or extension cables. Right now I have them on extension cables and a power strip to turn them all on or off. Works like a dream.

Robbin Williams is a favorite of mine.

He and Lewis Black were part of a Christmas USO tour on my last deployment. I damn near pissed myself laughing at his stand up.

Robin is funny, Dice is not. As a New Yorker, I heard all his shit when I was in 2nd grade.... years before he did it stand up.

It is a Holden. The interiors are nicer then the typical Chevy.

And sorry, I won't be carrying anything back for anyone since if I have more space I'll buy more for myself.

That being said, even paying $1000 for the flight it will be cheaper for you to fly there and bring back a set of pans than to buy them locally.

I was asking if a second carry on would be as cheep as shipping them yourself.

As for anyone else trying to get pan space in seans luggage, back off. I am first in line. Not that he will ever hav empty space, but if it happened.
