Looks like spring might finally be close.  Next 7 days are supposed to be close to or over 60.

So sick of this cold weather bullshit.

Tell me about it...too much rain, too much cold. I'm all ready for summer

Time to finish up a fiberglass box. With this stupid weather I could to small bits at a time: one day the first few layers of the back, second day the rest, third day cutting and fiberglassing all the mdf panels, fourth day fiberglassing the baffle to the rest and today I'm going to close all gaps and carpet it.

50s here and steady.  Supposed to be in the mid 60s this weekend.  I hope so.  I would really like to get the engine in my truck.

I want good weather, there's another bike competition (20 mile long course) at the end of April and I WANT to get a few good off-road trips before that. Without mud of course.

Probably going on a 40 mile road trip this weekend. Target time is 5 hours I'm not going to be on my own.

Overhaul is still on the to-do list. Only the headset is off the list since I overhauled that last weekend.

Mid 50's here today too. In N MN it might hit high 30's today though. At this point I still wish I lived up there, but in a week or two that'll change back

Drove a 2012 JGC SRT8, followed by an 07 JGC SRT8 and a Lincoln Navigator at lunch.

New Jeep is nice. Seats have some hot spots as they are too narrow in the ass pad which is shocking since I have a whopping 34" waist. Seems more aggressive from the go than the ML, but way sleepier once you are doing 30. 7spd AMG vs 5spd Jeep sad.png The 8 speed will really fix that car.

The 07 is nasty. Had Nitto's in all four corners and launched hard as hell. Not so amusingly the ML with snow tires corners better though. the 2012 is on par with my truck if not more firm in the corners. Not nearly as refined. The 07 is a shitty beast although it is world's smoother than the TBSS. Just no way I can deal with the plastic bullshit interior. Could be made into a fun car, but not for me.

The Lincoln seems sleepy in the gas pedal compared to the caddy, but otherwise drives a lot nicer. Dash sucks donkey dick and it's way too big. Outside of the Navigation though it is an improvement over the Sequoia in almost every aspect.

It was blacked out, not normally a fan but in this case I liked it.

Amusingly the guy who traded it is buddies with the guy who tried to sell me the 07. Got a ZL1 Camaro instead. Whopping 6k miles on the Jeep.

Have you set in one yet.  Not a fan of the low head clearance in the back seat.  And I'm 5'3''

my truck started messing up today, and its a weird issue, no codes,  just idles fine,  but when i go to drive it will go up to about 10 miles an hour then the motor will D-rate its power, then it will kick back in and then D-rate again.. its a weird issue,

the problem lays in the fact that while checking my truck some how i was 6 quarts low on transmission fluid, (4 speed allison ) of course every one that we talk to once they hear that  they say its the transmission and its not shifting out of first gear.. but they have not even seen it.. and its not shifting because its NO WHERE NEAR A FUCKING SHIFT POINT  its getting frustrating, im thinking its a cam sensor or crank sensor just replaced them both last year, but..  one of them could be bad again. thats what it seems like.

I don't like it.  It looks like a bloated car.

You are obviously referring to the BMW as I easily sit in the Jeep. I'm actually "ok" in the Bm'er too, but 99 out of a 100 times it gets driven my 2 & 4 year old will be in it.

Exactly. I want a car. I need to tow. Bloating a car works. Best part is that it drives like a car too.
