The madeira I get tastes like raisins.

Pretty yummy, and with a cigar it's heaven.

I don't know if pot would help. I'm not familiar with it at all or what it would do to me.

It can help in lots of ways. All depends on the strain and how its grown.

Ok, If anybody happens to stumble across a good website to get nipples this is what i looking for. I need a nipple with a 1/4 inch diameter, 1 inch in length and I would prefer if it is hardened if at all possible only needing just one,but i suspect I will have to buy these in pairs always good to have a extra nipple lying around.

Thanks,

Michael

Too sweet for me. That's the beauty of wine though.

Ever tried any homemade Muscadine wine?

I think the closest you will get is stainless.  There is simply no need for a hardened nipple; it would be structural and there is no need for that.

I would find some tool steel and get it machined.

Mine will probably run too hot

Yep. You want an external with an aux fan. I assume you are going to loosen up the converter as well, yes?

That being the case I could remove the other that is still intact and have them machine one up.One broke in half "cant find the the radius end"

Actually good Idea! I could probably have this done for little of nothing, most likely cheaper than If I found the ones I need..Not to mention the time I will save searching.

Don't know about stainless though as it will have to be welded on very thin carbon steel..

Thanks!

you got a pair of momentums right? im considering a pair for work. Need to be closed rather then my open 558s and grado cans. On the other hand I might stick with some cheap iem at work and grab some hd600.

Sure did. When I first fired them up I was concerned. Vocals were thin because the midrange was lacking. There was a lot of confusion with difficult instrumentation. But I left them play for about 4 hours and came back to a beautiful set.

Mind you, I have never really been into cans. I grabbed a nice set of Sony ES cans 20 years ago, but never really fell into them. I have always enjoyed setting up an environment rather than just sticking speakers on my ear. But I wanted to do something new.

Honestly, I think I may look into building a tube amp after I buy one to play with a bit. I want to get accustomed to setting it up, rolling, etc, before I climb into building one.

I want to try out some HD600s, but I want an amp before I snag them...

Oh, Norah Jones through these things...

They come in a nice semi rigid case and a microfiber tie bag. There are 2 sets of cables with them as well.

When I first took them out, I would say pretty accurate. Remember I mentioned how thin vocals and midrange were? I would say the highs were more exaggerated than suggested when I first fired them up. At this point I think they are fairly linear. Bottom end may be a bit heavy, and vocals a tad thin, but not 6db.
