Get a program car for the weekend and drive it around. It's the same chassis that you have now. It ain't like you are gonna keep it forever if it breaks it'll be under warrantee.

Plus a vortech can easily go back to stock and resale values on them aren't bad.

Warranty on a supercharged, brake kit'd, modded suspension car? I guess the non-drivetrain stuff would be covered, lol

Woodhouse has their own in house performance shop. They warrantee all their work. They are the largest retailer of vipers. Both Bill the sales manager and Mark the performance manager both race vipers.

And even with the Chrysler supplier plan it'll be more...without the performance mods.

That being said, I can get a used one and modify it and still lease it. I found the Woodhouse pages on both the Vipers and the dealership, but see no 'street performance' section. Is it all word of mouth or do they advertise?

Back to where I started I think:

X6

X5M

SRT8 JGC

Pooptastic, waste of a good week of work to I've been so distracted.

You really won't go for the ML again?? X6 vs x5M? Is that a fair fight?

Also isn't the x6 bucket rear seats so no way you can get the kids in it?

No ML. Stupidly I can't afford one under warranty anymore. Not sure what the fuck happened to pricing.

Buckets have child seat hold downs. I MUCH prefer how the X6M drives to the X5M. It is a WAY better chassis, so much so I think I'd prefer the standard TT X6 to the X5M.

I paid $44k for the ML. One that is 3 years newer and for sale atm is $70k. Seriously, wtf!!

And while behind the ML in power, it makes up for it in handling.

Yes, the whole process pissed me off though. Shit loads of money for things that aren't that much better than cheap ones. Obviously a day of sitting would change that though.

Even if it were equal, if I had to take another or an X6 today it'd be the X6.

*caveat being I need to test out the car seats in it, but am pretty sure it'll be better than my current rig.

I am seriously thinking about chopping off a few inches from my desk. I cannot find a fucking thing under 800 bucks in a drafting chair. And some of the drafting chairs are too tall in fact.

Bottom of the desk is 33".

So try to drop it, or put it on blocks if I need to for a really tall working experience. I could then stand at it I suppose.....

Stand & stool. $400 can buy you a lift to raise it up or down.

J, the Bach party is the weekend of the 12th so I have about a week and a half to get order the cigars.

We would be having them with whiskey, probably well after some steaks. I prefer a fatter cigar because I think it looks cool. Don't know on the burn time so I say middle of the road. Budget... No idea $7 per cigar looking for 6 total?

Go to www.cigarsinternational.com and check their pricing out.

I would suggest the following brands

Gurkha

- Evil

- Centurion

- Black Dragon

Acid (Drew Estate)

- Kuba Kuba

- Kuba Maduro

- 1400cc

Liga Privada No 9 or T 52

Undercrown

Both of the last two are made by Drew Estate as well. The price per stick should be in your range. The Acid lines are flavor enhanced (cured in an oils room for a nice taste for those not drinking a solid whiskey). You will save more buying in a 6 or 10 pack than per stick. Each cigar has it's own flavor profile, and description, but remember like whiskey one man's Woodford Reserve is another man's Jim Beam.

If you get stuck between a few sticks let me know which ones. Once it's narrowed down it will be slightly easier to point you in the right direction. If I was only choosing one stick for myself with a good whiskey it would be the Ligament Privada No. 9 but I tend to like a richer smoke.

Sean or anyone else, I am getting my résumé together and am hitting a brick wall. Can you share any tips for what to do or more importantly NOT to do? If anyone is willing to review mine and one other person's I would REALLY appreciate it!!!

Gurkha is a great smoke but much like Diesel if you don't regularly smoke stogies or accidentally inhale, it can really put your dick in the dirt.

J

Put the name of the job you want withing the first several words of a resume. So if your applying to be an HR rep, your resume should read

"HR rep looking to fill roles specializing. ......blah blah"

Or

"Recognized and published HR rep ready blah blah blah"

This helps a ton in getting your resume seen.

After that it can be pretty job specific. Highlight your skills, then note tasks and achievements in your job history.

A cover letter is sometimes welcomed too. I don't use that approach normally, but I might for a smaller corporation or firm if I'm applying a bit out of my normal wheel house.

They have a link somewhere on their page. They are one of only a handful of respectable viper and SRT dealers in the nation. They sell so much performance parts and vehicles that dodge created a special edition ACR convertible. Actual wind tunnel testing and all for the different areo than the regular ACR coupe.

You can go look at viperclub.com and see that they don't fuck around. And their prices are normally cheaper than anyone else in the nation.
