The last week has had more than 50% less traffic than any other month.

So I did something stupid today and got my finger stuck between the coil and rubber stop. Damn if my finger is not throbbing now!

Exactly one of the reasons I don't eat chicken. Any animal that requires you to cook it to beyond 165F is not safe to eat. No fucking way. Plus it is tasteless and gross compared to almost any other animal. Sucks we've bred ALL the flavor out of nearly every animal. Americans are so fucking stupid trying to not be fat and chasing ALL of the wrong things. sad.png

That is one of the only reasons I would consider living somewhere else on the planet.

Hopefully I just get really rich and have a farm/ranch.

You are overcooking your pork too. Medium rare is completely safe and SO MUCH better. If you are concerned about the trichinosis that doesn't exist you can cook it to 137.

If it's white in the middle again, I'd not even finish my plate. Dog food at that point.

So yes, those aren't even prime cuts. That was generally also the CHEAPEST grade of meat at each restaurant I was at. Most expensive was even more marbled, but I balance quantity and $ even when I go a bit absurd.

I'm also curious how you fried those chops. Almost no carmelization which means either you've chosen the wrong fat, had wet meat, put something weird on top of them or a combination.
