ill post here as not to clutter W140s sale post.... and because the SQ guys are here,

so the horns you mount under the dash sound good?   i guess its just weird trying to picture how great  it would sound with a tweeter by my leggs aimed at the bottom of my seat.. how does that sound good!?

Dispersion is extremely broad, simply due to the shape of the baffle. I have heard some low slung horns with an odd soundstage, but it is pretty hard to fuck them up.

We now have a cat in the house.  The W's been wanting one and we finally got one, a white and orange fuzz ball.

Kill it FAST

Had a good ride today. Rode with my buddy in the morning, and my son in the afternoon.

Flyin' the flannel. Sweet.

My riding is done. At least until 12/1 if I am lucky!

The way you listen they have the potential to sound great.

Sean I know you covered this but why is the Tundra off the list? Can tow over 10k, has pretty damn good acceleration stock, supercharger available without voiding the warranty, comfortable interior, and handles very very well. I know it doesn't have the push button from the factory but what else kills it for you?

J

Because everything you listed is subjective except the towing numbers and the warranty. Guarenteed Sean won't agree with most of these points.
My ML doesn't handle very very well btw. Sure as shit the Tundra handles like a turd, only question is if it is fixable without complete custom parts.

Looking SPECIFICALLY in the pick up truck market, and stock not after 5k of suspension upgrades, what have you found that handled better? I ask because IMHO its smoother and more nimble than anything Dodge, chevy, or Ford has come out with in years.

J

I already said I haven't driven one, but am also sure it handles like a turd. The only full size stock truck I've driven that does handle is my Uncles SRT10. It's a dodge and I am sure it'll make the Tundra feel like it handles like crap. I'd also bet the SS Chevy will too, which is sad because it's equally a turd in the handling spectra.

Making big behemoths handle is silly, absurd, dumb, and ridiculous. Exactly why I want to do it.

Well both are vehicles with speed in mind, not other shit. I hope you do drive one just for shits and giggles.

J

I won't be driving a Tundra, but may drive the Sequoia.

ryobi or dewalt 18 volt lithium-ion cordless drill?

Rigid drills for the money are good and have lifetime warranty on drill and batteries if you register them (work at a service center for them)

The XO point and slope will play a big role in stage height.

Had a good ride today. Rode with my buddy in the morning, and my son in the afternoon.

Looks fun. I wouldn't mind riding in trees!

I would kill for your dunes. I have watched a lot of dune riding vids and it looks like a blast.

And this is my back yard.

I don't have much interest for dunes. I think I would get tired of it quickly. Sorta akin to having a race car on a TON of flat land vs a track.

I made a red pasta sauce tonight from scratch. I made one for the wife, and then for me I poured on the chrushed red pepper.

I'm drenched in sweat. Perfect... well other than the split lip. Yeowch!

I'm a car guy.  I know better.  If I'm driving a truck, it's just to do things a truck is supposed to do.  If i want performance, I'm driving a car.  Camry fo life!

Bruce Lee was a fucking idiot! I mean that guy ran over 3 miles at a time! He should have been killing animals in 100m sprints like a real man.... Pussy

At least according to that other website you listed peng.

that can be taken a couple of ways,

so they play down to 1000-1500 or so,  my BGs play down to 2000...   im guessing that it has more to do with how much lower they would play,

 correct me if im wrong,

i have heard larger horns with  i think it was a 3 or 4 inch exit, with a 12 inch horn, and it was very warm, rich and  kinda pretty,

im guessing that would be a symerlyer experiance with these horns that would be the gain over the Bg neo 3s?

they are wide  but .. ah i donno i feel maybe im missing out on somthing,....

but then again i wonder if it will even matter,, when i drive the car im going to a show, i compete  i demo rap music, some dub step some old school rock and motown  and then i park it in my drive way ..... i hardly ever use it...

so would it be worth it if im not driving the car everyday and enjoying  and loving the music i play thru them?

i donno... alot of that im just talking out loud i guess.

Anyone ever heard of this brand?  I'm thinking this making enclosures super easy, considering the hardest thing for me is making straight cuts.

Interesting. Another thing you can do for straight cuts is use wood clamps / vice on one panel of wood on top of the panel you want to cut. Then you have an edge you can run your circular saw / jig saw against.
