Need to get some better insulated work gloves. Wind cuts right through mine when the wind chill is only 30F.

Lol, unless it's really wet and I'm touching metal 30 degrees barely needs gloves.

I use kevlar gloves when welding, they are warm but hard to move in and the itch the hell out of my face like I been rolling around in fiberglass...

Dyneema gloves seem to itch less, I've noticed.

Hate to say this, but they are seriously the worst money I have ever spent on snowmobiling. SUPER frustrated I bought them. Too cheap to buy something else, but my hands get cold EVERYTIME I ride now. They never used to with my el cheapo Cabela's gloves although with those I got blisters. My FXR non-insulated ones I haven't yet tried when it is super cold, but last year the hand warmer on my left grip was broke so at -20F you really can't ride without big mitts.

And they take forever to dry.

I used to have a pair of Polaris leather gloves that were under a hundo and were 10x the gloves the Klim's are.

Also wearing out WAY fast IMO. I seriously hate that I spent $$$ on them.

Okay I am going to bring up an old discussion again.

I am looking for another pair of steel toe 'dress' boots to wear to class. I love my Docs, but am curious as to what I am missing. Looking into a black, brown, or dark red pair, but not sure if I should go elsewhere, as they are all made in China (or someother country) now. I was thinking Red Wing might be worth a look. They need to take and hold a nice polish.

I have a VERY trashed pair of those. Still way warmer than the Klim's but I can't wear them on a 200mi day and wear them the next day. My hand isn't wide enough for them so the material folds over under my palm and I end up with weird blisters.

I am aggressive as hell on a sled though....but once you ride mine 200' you will know why.

They sell winter style gloves in Texas?

I know when we drove down to Tucson on new years a few years ago, we couldn't find the windshield washer fluid that had a freeze rating on it, it was all just blue water. Here everything is -30 I think, down there, nothing.

-45 here due to wind chill... And it will still freeze up at high speeds...

I did go to cabellas. They were all horrible fit. And they only had a few styles that were aggressive enough. The slow to dry thing makes sense.

I assume you have long fingers and a low volume Palm? I have shorter fingers but a retarded huge palm/fist.

Hence my excitement for those as the XL size felt like someone cut leather around my hand.

The only gloves to last me more than one season are some grandoe leather gloves. I'm positive I would mangle them if I did anything other than shovel or snowblower.

They are a calfskin.

That is crazy since I almost need a XXL because of my palm. The XL Cabelas should fit you pretty well, might even get by with a large. My fingers are SUPER long.

Why for nice boots is a steel toe requirement in there? .

On the xxl from cabellas I could fold the fingers back almost an inch and a half. Maybe more.

I get $90 dollars twice a year for boot allowance...why I chose

wolverine so I don't have to pay out of pocket..

...Reebok has some nice steel toes..
