10F this night.

And the wind is absurd. I had trouble pedaling back from work in the blizzard.

30F at most tomorrow. Fun times I say, spring is here...

You are doing all this, because you don't have a running car, correct?

The car is running well :)

I ride the bike since my job is 2 miles away, it's not even worth driving, in the 18 months since I have worked here I never drove once to work.

Plus I love riding the bike, I ride everywhere around town, no matter the weather.

I have tried every OTC test booster. None actually boost T in a way that is of much vaule.

They do give you some of the side effect of T though, mainly regarding libido. Mild energy boost. Maybe a bit easier to get the metabolism juiced up.

Bought myself a Fly Racing F2 Carbon helmet in flat black today. Fits great, looks good, and offers a lot of room and ventilation. I do wish the goggle opening was a shade bigger. I bought some Fly goggles, and while they fit perfectly it makes me tilt the helmet back further then I like. I may have to get some new goggles.

I also ordered some handgaurds and Maxxis Razors.

509's fit great in an F2.

Manufacturer please!

509

I prefer the sinisters to the aviators other than the aviators look better.

Do you use them with a Carbon F2? They look pretty fuckin big compared to my opening. I wonder if REI carries them locally...

You aren't referring to the 509 Carbon, are you?

This is the helmet I bought...

I am not a big fan of all the graphics. My bike is all black, as is my gear. No fancy stickers or graphics for me.

Seth, do you have any experience with the Ethos scanners?  I am looking for something cheap(er) to replace my MT2500.  I just need OBDII scan, clear, movie, simple tests and maybe ABS pump bleed capability.

Even the huge aviators fit. I wear the sinisters. Here's the only pic I have on the web (or my pc) of them in the helmet.

One of my buddies wears an F2 with Aviators and another an F2 with Dragon's which are equally big. Lots of space. Those are all larger foam goggles though which in particular on the snow is a good thing.

There were fucking cars on Tonka today. I haven't felt like riding my sled on the lake in 2 weeks. Of course for me to get far enough West to get off the lake I'd have to go under 2 bridges with complete open water. Skippy-hi-ay motherfucker

Why is everyone obsessed with how much others have and how "unfair it is".

I look at a dude in a Lamborghini and I think, how should I work to get one. The people I know think, that prick has too much.

What the fuck kind of thinking is that?

Do people on forums complain of inside wheel lift in the corners?

Curious, morons on the snowmobile forums want a bump compliant sled and then they bitch that it handles likes shit. In reality they drive like pussies and no shit dealing with bumps means a higher CG.

Not really from what I have seen. But I think most people know to expect this. You can get wider axle and front control arms to help. But most of the forums I go to are MX racing forums, and those guys expect wheel lift.

I'd figure the same for those buying an "aggressive trail sled" but it seems that the ass draggers from the past that had no suspension have soured their views on how they use their body in corners. Was curious if it translated to land as well. I suppose the old 3 wheelers set the precedence though and although they couldn't lift it required body english to control.

I have seen on some of the more casual riding forums that people don't like the TRX450, but they tend to be more of the ute rider rather then the sport rider. I tend to steer clear of these forums, as personally I am aggressive in everything I do. Even though I hadn't ridden a bike of any sort for over 20 years, it took me 5 minutes on my son's new dirtbike to start thrashing it. So much so that he was in disbelief at how hard I rode it, end he has some pretty ballsy buddies he rides with. So it is more in my nature to seek out forums where the riders are more sport oriented. I have looked at a few Raptor/YFZ450R and the TRX450R based forums, and the rider base there is more prone to actually riding, rather then sitting on the seat and jacking the throttle. What I have found on these forums are real racers, rather then the casual rider who might complain about the work required to really ride it. So I guess it is more of an issue where I found riders, rather then just forums where people are getting into something they don't really comprehend.

And to be honest, I got ahold of a bike that was more then I was able to comprehend. But I have ~5 hours on it now and I am pretty comfortable with it. Admittedly it still shocks the fuck out of me from time to time. My son rode it around the yard for the first time yesterday and said he wasn't quite ready for it. But he wants a stock 450 now... right after I bought him the damn dirt bike 261.gif

Friend of mine had a 400ex with some mods. Was riding with him the day i rolled a grizzly 700 and shattered my collar bone. pushed it a little too hard trying to keep up with him in the corner :(

I'd rather have a bike over a quad.

It's all in the mentality.  I look at the Lambo and think, while it would be nice, I could have several nice cars and left over money to donate to those in need.

More like "He could've bought a vacation house instead. Shame."

I think they look great, along with the TB SS, and a built LS would make for fun.  The TBs aren't too bad aside from the typical cheap GM interior.

Do you really believe that? I have never in my life met someone with that mentality.

I have given the Matt challenge to countless people and never has anyone taken all their next raises and donated to those in need. I have had a couple guys swing at me after I made that challenge though.

People hate having their paradoxical argument shoved in their face especially when they have kids or a wife or someone at home to take care of.
