Sneek peak of something done today. I am using the equipment from the jeep.

Oh nice.  I liked the Merlin's.  Last US Amps models worth considering from what I can tell.

Not yet, but was looking on their site and they came up as a new product.

Not worth the money, IMO.  I automatically detract from anything that uses the word "audiophile."

I was just curious because a couple years back I aquired a pair of headphones with the same name. They are nothing special.

I have been asked 3 times over the past month if I am the guy on american ninja worrior, once on vacation, then on the way home from vacation, and just today in town.

I was told I did very well.

I never heard of that show, but look like some one who was on it this year. The wife wanted me to go with it, but I chickened out.

I've got one tire on my truck that's wearing more than others. Its driving me crazy. I broke loose just saying around on the wet concrete today.

I'm tempted to call my Discount tire and tell them to keep a 315/65R16 hancook dynapro ATM or 2 if they get one in.

That is what I run in the winter months.

Neal, how is that little Merlin doing?

Like brand new! I bet there is less than 3 hours of play time on it.

Since I am driving the beetle to work I need some tunes. I have a couple more things I want to do, but that will come later.

Oh wow, didn't realize it was virtually new.  Why not drive the 4Runner?

Kendall is driving it until she is comfortable with standard.

Rotary pumps make the best coffee

Somewhat on the topic, have you seen the new nespresso machines?

I sampled one at Sur La Table and I'm not sure which on i had but the coffee didn't seem to have crema but bubbles on top

That'd be sad, the previous versions made better espresso than 99% of coffee shops.  That is really, really sad though.

I want an RX8

Non-running ones are CHEAP

20b time!

Oh, hell no

As much as I'd like it, seems like too much of a headache :)

Got the Jeep back up and running and surprise...

When I got back from the trip the idle was very rough, made little to no power under 1500 rpm and smoked at idle. I said the turbo is fucked and pugging up the exhaust. Nope, it's the same now. And I'll be damned, it had this rough idle issue very randomly in the past but it lasted a few seconds only. So I guess it's a bad lifter / bent pushrod. That would explain the slight tick I kept hearing over the last year.

So I might as well do it right if the heads come off to change the lifters:

ARP head studs

New head gasket

New lifters

VNT Turbo

New intercooler

Resealed injection pump

If it still gives me issues after this I'm putting a bomb in it and put it on youtube.

I may not have given off the, "I like good coffee vibe" so maybe he gave me a "traditional coffee".
