Ate at the Admiral. Worth a stop. Had narrowed it down to there or Bouchon's.

If you are driving and heading farther south Savannah, Ga is worth a stop. It has plenty history as well.

An interesting observation I made today:

If you have a DirecTV HD DVR (model numbers HR-24 and HR-34), you cannot record a program on an HD channel if the DVR is connected to a TV via RCA cables.

Why would you get HD then use RCA's and not HDMI???

I bet it will be close, I am not positive but they said roughly 30% larger than the XL.

I read it was 26", so I didn't think it was that much bigger. Official word now is 29.25", which would make it nearly 50% bigger. Shit balls.

Just as I did the final check on the BMW electrical, the passenger side window doesn't work. The relay clicks but no power goes to the motor. After working all saturday on the door wiring for the driver's side (cut wires, no insulation, nothing soldered, pure crap waiting to catch fire), I take apart the loom going to the passenger door and find the same crap. INCREDIBLE, way more work on this POS.

This project is way past the point it's profitable. I just put in time on wiring which will never be seen.

It's the worst project I ever tackled.

It tops the Civic  trunk which I had to do during finals and while working on the graduation project.

Fucking stupid people who remove wiring insulation with knives...

Turns out the window problem was caused by a wire which had 2-3 strands left after removing the insulation and after so many times of opening and closing the door it failed.

Stomach soup is delicious as long as it's done right. If not it's be disgusting.

Considering the wiring I have to fix is subjected to bending (door opening and closing and it's the wire connecting the door to the car), what would be the best way to fix cut wires? Just a simple twist or solder?

I have had solder joints fail but that was on ridiculously small wiring or when only a few strands of the original wire were left because most were cut when removing the insulation.

The backhoe wiring repair was done only with solder and it did not fail yet but it's not subjected to bending anywhere.
