Amazing how much smaller it feels on the road when you are 4" lower.

My XP-G torch took a dump. Any recommendations on bang for the buck LED flash lights?

I know dx.com is huge but worth a shot, you may find something cool.

Sorting through junk to uber expensive is tough for me.

Having a ton of inventory is both good and bad. When I got my bike lights from them I wanted to see what else they have...not worth spending the time to sift through their website.

Finally, some reason on the internet.

I remember one time a friend tried to convince me it's faster to pour sugar from one of those paper sugar things by breaking it in half. When we compared directly opening one side vs opening in half, opening on one side was a lot faster. But somehow it was faster for him the way he did it.

If need be could I get a member of the MN mafia to go inspect a trailer for me?

Found a guy selling a decent wrestling ring and flatbed for 3500 and the ring alone is 5000 new, and needless to say they don't depreciate that much. So its either a great value, or shot to shit.

I'm not sure how you stick to the road with those bicycle tires!

Does look good, but I need to see a before again. Really seems like that's how an escsalade should sit from the factory.

Sean I thought you bought from shiningbeam?

I did but it failed. Was looking at the Convoy's there but that led me to comparison shop to Amazon and found the $10 knockoffs. Meaning same "bulb" can be a $7 flashlight all the way up to a $200. WTF? How do you choose?

I bought the P Tourch 700 lumins when you had said about them and one of the thrower 950 lumin. They are still working fine. If you find something cheaper post it up.

The LED name by itself and the stated lumens don't mean much for a light.

The chipset that controls the power, how it deals with over heating, the cooling system all mean way more than the bulb/LED. They also have different bin groups of LEDs and some manufacturers use shit bin parts. The LED itself might have a green tint or so.

Also OTF lumens and the system they used to measure the light is way more important. If they aren't measuring OztF lumens, the lumen rating is worthless. My ~300 lumen pocket pimp is brighter in a useable way than most people's emagerd 1200 lumen especial at k Mart.

I just picked them up to use at the Haunt and found myself using them around the house. Working good for what we do with them, but if there is a better bang for the $ we can pick more up for Haunt use.

I need a new head lamp for working in the dark Matt, what would you buy?

I would almost always suggest 4sevens for the price, and the quality is nearly military grade. The upgraded selection system for how to change the settings is also fantastic.
