DMT is exceptionally expensive, and very impressive. I got it at cost, $125 a gram. But I was told to start at a 10th. So of course I started with a quarter. I haven't taken a trip in ~20 years.

It was very introspective. So much so that I was extremely uncomfortable for ~5 minutes. That may not seem long, but in total it lasted about 10-15 minutes and felt like eternity. Everything was dark, maybe black, with highlights of grey and white. Think of the album cover for Tool, 10,000 days. I saw black eyes in the darkness and lived through heartache. Voices spoke in languages I had never heard, but I understood what they had to say through my suffering. I knew I had to loosen up and I did, then I started to laugh. There was no physical limits, I didn't see walls, or ceiling. I didn't see my TV. I felt my consciousness, but not my body or brain. I knew that I "was" but not that I existed physically. When I laughed everything rippled. Sound, space, tastes, smells, feelings; everything pulsed and rippled in unison. Then there was an explosion of light and color. Everything was bright orange, blue, purple, and green on a black backdrop that was so dark it seemed to consume everything that was not bright. Colors that I cannot describe, they were so vivid. The depth of everything was beyond 3D, everything felt "6D" to the best of my ability to explain it. I felt myself melting into everything around me that was dark. I knew that some being or god was with me. I felt it grab my being and walk with me. There were eyes everywhere, but they were happy to see me. They were all bright orange and blue. I spoke with this god without words, but he knew what I said even though I didn't understand what I was saying. He, and it was very much a "he", walked with me to a light and I came back to reality slowly.

It was massively intense. They say that this hormone is naturally occurring in the human body only twice in everybody's life. Once at birth, and once at death. I am not sure it is meant to be experienced beyond that. I used to trip a lot, and I have never had an experience like this. It was almost overwhelming. If I had not been an experienced tripper I can see myself losing it. I don't think this is for amateurs. For me, the first time was an otherworldly and oppressive at the onset, but it cleaned up remarkably. I think I am going to do another quarter in a couple weeks. I will be more prepared and more relaxed next time around. I may try meditating beforehand.

If you like TOOL, all you have to do is look at any of Alex Grey's covers to understand the visuals. He is obviously a heavy DMT smoker. His take of colors is accurate, but aside from the visuals, and understanding of otherworldly beings, it falls far short of the experience. I don't suggest that 99% of the population try this. It is beyond anything I have experienced, and I have tried a lot of shit in my day.

I like to think of it at High Definition life.

High def, but for me it was beyond life.

I think it deserves to have every letter in it's name capitalized. It was excruciatingly intense.

Does it cost the same out there for disco shit? At $125/g it seemed quite pricey. Granted, that is realistically $12 a hit, but I remember liquid bomb being $2-4 a cube.

normally out here good quality acid goes for about 7-10 a hit.
And unlike DMT that is hard to make at home

Got a smart phone today.

Ironically it makes me feel dumb.

And it won't actually start being smart until you master Tasker

So 4 figures is low power?

Why?  You're not racing it, so top end power is pointless.

What do you think you'd prefer. Sheer ice driving in the winter. 800hp with no lag or lag?

I'd rather go more on power and have it come on non-instantly then be where I want to be all from the go. I realize the latter feels quicker and is more nasty and that has a fun factor, but it also squashes driveability when you really want to make power.

As for your 4 digit power, that is funny. Not saying it can't be done, but throw all driveability out the window. Not the case with a Turbo. At least in the LS world nearly no one breaks the 800hp barrier with superchargers, but a shit load do with Turbos. Yes, tons of exceptions but as a percentage they are trivial.

High boost without a boost controller is pointless and non-usable. When the cost for high boost is basically the same as low boost why settle for low?

No lag.  I use my foot to control the power.  It's even more simplified with the fact you have an intelligent AWD system.

I've seen several Camaros making this power with the 427 and 2.3 TVS, with zero issues on the driveability side.

Now, I LOVE me some turbos, but for simplicity's sake and the budget, the blower is a no brainer.  Hell, if you want "lag,"  buy a big fucking centrifugal.  You already know how fun those can be.

Not that I know anything about vehicles but couldn't you have some way to switch between two tunes and have one detuned for ice / if the W drives?

I would imagine so. They have mode selectors for vehicles, but I would imagine they are expensive.

That's a hint as to why the guys and gals that wrestle are professionally trained. Even then injury's do happen.

Is it bad I find it impressive someone can take a 175 lb. human being and swing him like a fucking baseball bat?

Not at all....

I'd want it as progressive as possible. High boost threshold with a nice ramp :)

I'm willing to bet a standalone ECU can do that.

376/402's and a TVS don't make 4 digit power, not without LOTS of help. Tons of guys with 292's and Turbo's doing it.

As for the budget, on my truck the Turbo is dollar for dollar the same or cheaper per HP.

All this talk about turbos makes me want to turbo the Miata sooner. Not sure I can swing it this year but next year turbo goes on.

Can't really pull that much fuel or timing. Pulling boost though can be done...with a Centri or Turbo, Maggie/Whipple require a pulley change.

Again, not racing but it is a benchmark. I've seen a boat load of Turbo trucks on Performancetrucks.net in the 8's but only one supercharger truck and it is a procharger. Not saying there aren't more, but not really any PD ones. Sure there could be, not like I've seen all the trucks but I don't recall one and I have been looking.

Any easy ways to adjust the electronic throttle control or does the stock system already do that for terrain?
