There were several body builders at my gym that were successful, I would be over there with chalk, bands and chain work and they would be doing slow massive reps with 135 on the bar. I never understood it really........

I guess different strokes for different folks.

It's for the pump. More blood, more nutrients. Etc.

Now a lot of powerlifters transition quickly to bodybuilding. Safer lifting is everywhere now, and frankly, the drugs are better, or rather the info on how to use them is better.

Haven't bodybuilders been successful transitioning into powerlifting? Ie: they built all the raw muscle then they transition to strength work.

I could be full of shit, I don't really follow either group much, but that's what I heard from someone I consider smart on the matter. :D

I don't like'em.

In the SPL enclosure I use drywall screws. And I've removed/installed the sub over a dozen times, using the same screw holes. Only one stripped the mdf and is no longer useful.

I'm pretty sure the world's problems were solved in the last version of this thread.

We must go back and read it. Entirely.

project today.  Got the nexus 7 ready to install

:woot:

In my stupidity I went to the friend with the CNC, we figured out the radius of the nexus, the angle and we cut based on the internet dimensions. 5mm off in the length. Sat till 1:30 AM to finish it, I was fucked the next day at work.

Looks good, personally I would sand down the edges to give it a smooth transition to the screen. I like where you have the bass knobs too.

lmao yeah fuck some body building. I only powerlifted and trained for mass and strength. I would eat any way I wanted. Cardio was never my friend

Never my friend either. Although I pedal 8 miles / day.

Girlfriend wanted to come to the gym with me. Since I never looked at anything for women's training, I asked the coach to help her. So first day was leg day and her goal is to build a bit of muscle and tone up.

Matt2, any tips or ideas on a training plan for her?

I'm no expert but I'm a huge advocate for the JeFit app on android/apple. Tons of great workout routines or you can make your own and track weight lifted, projected goals, etc.

I love using it personally, a lot of people still like to use pen and paper. But for me it's just one more thing to carry around and remember, I always have my phone with me.

Started vaping a few weeks back. Got me a EGO from VolVapr her locally. Stuck on the cinnamon flavor 8mg. Not sure what was worse, my cigars or this shit

I love me some cinnamon. I rail Highbrow Vapor's Cinnamon 18mg all the time.

I must need to try a different cinnamon, I thought it tasted like an air freshener. I was bummed as I like cinnamon flavored foods. I did try the Root Beer and like it. My fave is still the Black Honey Tobacco. I think bc it tastes like the cigars I be puffing in between vaping.

I didn't say I liked them. BUT they are a set it and forget it. Plus you can use allen head bolts.

Sharp drywall screw on a screw gun that I have to use force to drive, or a flat smooth bolt I can just thread right in by hand . IDK which one I should pick?

Shit, uncle fell and cut his elbow. Bled bad and hurt like hell so he went in and got an Xray. No big deal.

Until it hurt so much the next day he was rushed to the hospital. Infection, and while they were getting him ready to do some surgery he fevered and BP went crazy. Has to be rushed to a bigger hospital.

An elbow cut, and you end up that fucked up! Yikes.

4yr old niece fell off the porch few months ago, ~12 in tall maybe, fell on elbow, broke it, popped the joint out, broke the tip off, had to have surgery and 4? pins.

T-nuts bother me when they fall off or when the sub cutout isn't much smaller that the mounting hole diameter. If you want to go deeper, how many times is a sub removed/installed? :D

With all that in mind, I've used T-nuts on the RLi enclosure

I am sure it has been done. But power lifting gets even less endorsements than bodybuilding, so it's less likely.

Also age. 10-20 reps starts looking nice at 30 if you spent your whole 20's chasing one rep max.
