Last day of freedom for me guys... start work tomorrow.

Bittersweet. Working weekends is going to be brutal.

Ha, I just quit yesterday.

Wife felt like a billion bucks when she quit and moved up a bunch of steps.... and then we just found out today her old manager got a demotion.

AWESOME.

If the forecast stays true we will have the largest snowfall total for May in Minnesnowta this year as well.

Have to ride the wives as mine still needs repair Doh.gif

I was just gonna ask if you got your sled fixed... Guess I know the answer.

Do you not have a garage?

Once I started parking inside I completely lost the understanding of remote start.

Germans are funny too. It can be 150F outside and you stop to run into a store and grab something. Knowing you will be gone only 30sec they shut off the car. Regularly put the car in park at stop lights as well. Saving energy trumps comfort.

In that regard, I'm a fucking red blooded red necked American but I don't get the auto start.

Having a garage has never sparked an interest in me for a remote start.
Key-less entry, automatic windows roll up at lock, power side mirrors, those are some things I want to bring into mine.

Also, shaving the doors and putting touch sensor to open them. Just because I can.

Keyless go is WAY more interesting. Hell almost a pre-requisite IMO.

And there you go. I have no garage. In the winter, it is a lifesaver for me. Not having to go outside and spend extra time in the bullshit cold to clear my windows is priceless.

Too expensive :/

Might be able to find a used Viper unit online for under 300. I know shipping is killer, but if it saves time, and time is money it works out long term.

She has to park outside at work. She has gotten all confident now that she is a sugar momma so wants stuff.

:-)

As for me, the expedition won't fit in the garage actually.

It's is my buddies site that is just stacked with toys. I am seriously looking at the 65 Biscayne. The guy that won the eBay bid on the 60 picked it up so I am looking again.

Garage? That is not for storing vehicles. That is for a machine shop and crap.

The Chevelle lived/lives in there, but it'll probably be sold this summer. :(

Did you notice the lack of productivity on my remodel during snow season? See the improvement now?

Sled can wait. We have no snow. Before it flies it'll have new pistons, a new front end, new longer rails, new bogey bearings, some powder coating, a tunnel extension and knowing me I won't stop there. At the moment the focus is on selling the house. New house will also allow a larger snowmobile trailer and better access to ride.

I'd love to go put on another 40mi though and crack 3k for the year.

Ha, the ML is outside atm. Didn't put away my last two sheets of ply and my table saw yet. Might build a quick sink base this weekend.

Snowmobiles are in the garage though...and in a covered trailer tongue.png
