They aren't going to include "broken" in a sales pitch.

2005 and post seem to be wAaay more reliable. I have read of a buch of guys with the TT chili's at 130 and still going strong. There are some weird things like coolant hoses, and the such but no exploding engines like the original had problems with.

If you do ALL the maintenance it probably wond be too bad but it sounds like 30k for brakes and similar for tires for moderate drivers.

On something that repairs cost $,$$$, it sure is to me.  100k is the point where stuff needs replaced.

I am always weary of buying a turbo with that many miles. Unless it has extensive maintenance history, I wouldn't touch it.

First year - 04 - is a wreck. I am only interested in 06 and up for that reason.

Screen isn't that big of a deal IF it is easily removed. I'd prefer a Windows 8 carpc anyways

I don't buy anything without an extensive maintenance history and a particular owner

I will go look at it, its in my area and I am in Franklin a few days a week. I personally think the Cayenne turbo's are the best buy right now.

The main thing is the coolant tubes are plastic and the fix is 2500 bucks, that is something that will need done. Just when is the question.....

My friend has had 4 of them and knows alot about them

Appreciate the offer. Not interested yet only because my lease isn't done until December.

Just wondering how much of my own dough I'll spend maintaining it....or one like it.

At the same time, I could release my AMG and in 3 years I own it. Same scenario though from a fix it cost. Currently I have 75k miles and it will be 85k in December.

I like that color combo and option list though. Only non-black I'd own

So if you release the AMG, its yours at the end of the three?  I know you are bored with it, but why not just do that?  Get your house on the lake, then buy your supercar.

For 25k I am gonna swing by and look at it anyway. lmao

I will let you know how it looks. I dont think it will be there long at that price unless it needs the rotors (4k) and the coolant tube done (2.5k).

That black / black 04 looks like a great buy too. Already lists it had the coolant tube replaced to the metal

So who decides on Taco Bell at 745 (or so) on Sunday night?

Who gets ass ended in said drive thru by a senior citizen in a Kia?

Who had to go to the ER with his passenger for whiplash?

Yep this guy.

Neck is still sore as fuck.

At first I had to laugh, just the scenario, not the injury.

Sorry to hear that, bud. Whiplash sucks ass.

Yes. My concern with the AMG is the same as the Porsche. Maintenance cost. I know the potential for disaster with what I have and generally feel that a very high mileage Porsche > Mercedes > AMG, so it was a thought.
