Ryan, Seth, who would you use for coil on plugs? I tried to clean mine out, but it's a lost cause and the missfire just got worse. The truck isn't in protect limp mode, but she is not happy. I have stopped driving her until I can get a new set.

Last time I used a company called Global and they did just fine, until the radiator hose puked all over. I can't find the kit for my truck anymore. I am HORRIBLE at using ebay so maybe I am missing it.

I found these also, I don't know if there is anything to a "performance" CoP of if it is flim flam, but it's the second best price I have found so far. The Accell CoP's are 200.

Yeah, considering the subs are not even in production, somewhere in China or whatever.

I used Accel on my expedition and loved then. I also put E3 plugs in at the same time. Great investment IMO

OEM MotorCraft only.  They are the only ones that seem to hold up and actually work.  Go to any forum and you will see the stories of people who swayed from MotorCraft and how they just ended up spending more in the long run.    You'll also find some interesting reads on the "performance" coils.

Anyone here have a Surface RT?  The fact it does office/Excel native without having to f' around with apps really, really, intrigues me.  I run internet, word, and excel, and that is about it on a mobile machine.  Not so much creation of large workbooks, but I have a standard template and I modify into that, normally about 10-15 sheets per workbook, about 500 lines, and 20 columns per sheet.  Test data, so it has load, displacement, compressometer/displacement (one and two) and 5 specimens per page.  I'd love a simple, easy way to take a computer on site to pull and check data while testing.

I need to take a data file to best buy and sit down and play with one to see how it works, but wondering if anyone has it and used Excel on it yet for work.

That is so interesting. On 2 of the truck forums I am on they almost all used the globals.

I will look more into the "performance" thing. I didn't understand how they could be any better, but I wouldn't have expected them to be worse.

Motorcraft plugs are nearly twice the price. So for a set of 8 I'm looking at nearly 400 bucks.

Drill holes through the door panel when you glass over it, otherwise it won't have much adhesion.

I don't think it is that heavy. The plywood enclosure itself weights 5 kilograms (11 pounds).

I'll be sure to weight the overall door panel after I am done.

Right under the door opener thingy you can see what I am talking about. Or at the very right.

Call Tousley Ford in White Bear Lake. I ordered some last year at $37 each.

not the best pic but the idea is to drill a ton of holes so that the fg "sows" together the panel.
