I guess I should clarify, while some of the SnapOn carts are made by Sunnex, the larger carts and boxes are not

Thanks for the info. I was just going by what the CW dealer told me. I found it odd he would recommend me another brand, but he's a preacher and a really good guy.

Speaking of a happy wife = sexy, ever since 2 girls in the team at work found out I wasn't single anymore they suddenly became interested. And if I don't mention anything they keep asking me if I broke up. WTF, I could have been a lamp when I was single but now all of the sudden something changed.

They want what they can't have.

I agree with this. It's like winning an arm wrestling competition to snag you from another woman. Their version of driving a Lamborghini past a guy who was your rival. That is the competitive side.

The flip side is that they crave a man to make them happy. If they see you making another woman happy it shoves that hunger under their nose. "If you can make her happy why not me", they think. They are lonely in some way and want to have that part filled.

The best example is that one of the best, craziest lovers you will ever have is one who is married and unhappy. She would do things that make a hooker blush and smile while doing it.

I know the big Mac cart I have (like the one you were looking at) is exactly the same unit as my Coworker's Matco, except his has the flip top. No doubt they were both made by Sunnex. That is no knock on those carts, I love my cart, but it is the same unit, without a doubt.

If I buy this new cart I will be retiring my little 1 drawer cart I have had for ~25 years and use the big black cart for my general service tools. That poor little cart has been abused (set an alignment lift down on it, and a couple cars) and it is tired, but damn if it still doesn't do it's job.

I don't know if you're concerned about names, but the Cornwell guy told me the other day that all the big manufacturers get their carts made at the same place to pretty much the exact same specs. He had a Matco and Snapon cart on his truck with his Cornwell cart and all were identical. They even had parts with the same stamping numbers. Anyways, he told me if you want to save some cash to find some Sunnex (sp) cabinets online. He said they're about $100-$200 cheaper even if you factor in shipping. I haven't searched yet, but my father has a Sunnex cart he's had since the 80s for all his body work tools.

Names don't mean shit to me. The vast majority of my tools and all my storage is Mac branded. I have never gone the (IMO) overpriced SnapOn route. Aside from my Verus and it's accessories, I don't have $1000 of SnapOn/Blue Point tools.

Sunex currently makes Mac, Matco, and Cornwell boxes, but SnapOn makes their own. They have for several years. My Macsimiser is ~20 years old and was made back in the day when Mac made their own boxes. It is so much more solid then the new boxes.

One of my co-workers has a Sunnex built Matco cabinet that is very close to the Snap-on I am on the fence about. He paid $1450 for it, I will pay $1350 for the Snappy. It is so close in dimensions you need a tape measure to see which is bigger (the SnapOn drawers are ~ 1/2 inch larger in width and depth, the SnapOn cabinet is ~1/2 inch wider and deeper, and the SnapOn is a 6 drawer, where the Matco is a 5 drawer. The SnapOn unit is also more solid (double layer steel sides) and offers expandability, through a slot locking system built into the panels.

I am not a fan of the lock and roll drawer locking system. One of my co-workers is an all SnapOn guy, and he has a box that uses this system. You have to finger a full drawer length release and move it to the left ~1/2 an inch. It is very easily removable (less then 10 seconds per drawer with no tools required), but the drawers have no detents.

Being a half an inch wider and getting a half inch deeper is never bad...

it's nice to see myself getting back in shape. i even went out and got myself a new bike, peddle bike, not motorized. something i use to really enjoy doing

what'd you get?

it's nothing special, just a DK "Cleveland". that way if i don't end up riding it i won't be out much. can't wait to hit the dirt and let it fly.

Kids bike?

http://www.walmart.c...X-Bike/17012264

thats what i like. i like to hit the dirt trails and 360's, supermans, knack-knacks, table tops, all great stuff off of 6+ft dirt jumps!

I always feel like a giant on those bikes, too small, too twitchy. tongue.png

I agree I'm 6'1 tall, weight 260 pounds and I have a 20" Mongoose BMX Bike from Walmart that I got when I was 12....I feel very funny riding it but up until August it was my only form of transportation

Ha, I'm 6'7". I just thought it was funny buying a 20" to get in shape. If you want to pedal for that purpose I'd want gears.

i'm already in shape, i just wanted it to have fun.

Damn, I'm impressed, you got in shape very quick.

Jeff and Jennifer Counceller thought were doing the right thing when they saved the life of an injured baby deer they found near their home in Indiana. But because they didn't have a permit, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is prosecuting them and they could face up to 60 days in prison. The DNR should drop these charges now.

When they found the fawn on a neighbor’s porch in 2010, she was badly injured with puncture wounds that were infected and had maggots in them. Jennifer, a registered nurse and wound caretaker for the couple’s dogs and horses took the deer home and named it Dani and began nursing the deer back to health.

When they called the DNR they were told to return the deer to the wild and let nature take it’s course. That would have been a death sentence for the deer. Instead, they tried to find Dani a home at animal rescue operations, petting zoos and deer farms, but no one would take her. The Counceller's decided to keep caring for the deer until it was strong enough to make it on it’s own in the wild.

This past summer the DNR started an investigation into the situation and a DNR official recommended they get a permit to rehabilitate Dani. The DNR then denied the permit application and then said the deer would have to killed.

Just before DNR officials arrived at the Counceller's house to kill Dani she escaped through a gate that was left open. Now, the DNR has assigned a special prosecutor to the case and they're charging both Jeff and Jennifer with illegal possession of a white-tailed deer.

Though Gold has risen in value, I'd consider it more of securing your purchasing power in regards to inflation.

I'm in Indiana where this was obviously pretty big news.

The newly elected Governor has "requested" the DNR re-evaluate the case. I believe last I heard the DNR was dropping the case against them.

I don't know the whole story, but if it's exactly how that article snippet describes then that's the shit that drives me insane.

Every report I've heard has described it exactly as that article. They found the injured fawn and called the DNR for assistance. The DNR basically told them to release to the wild and let it die, and it was illegal for them to keep it. They kept it anyways to rehabilitate it. When the DNR found out they went there to euthanize the deer, but by the time they got there the deer was released. So the DNR was bringing charges against them which could have resulted in 6 months (I believe) in jail plus fines.

Friday following the news coverage is when the Governor basically told them to drop the case.
