It will sound good if you can get it set up right. I ran a 2 way active in my S10, off my Alpine 9887 hu, and a 4 channel amp. I don't even remember what highs I used, I just remember they started out as a 61/2 component set, and I removed the passive crossovers, and used the active capable head unit for signal processing.

For many reasons I can't believe my wife has let me keep the BIBs. We just moved to the second house and she has agreed to having the repainted/stained to match the living room.

I still love them and always have a MAW 10 to accompany them that I never use.
