I have a Camo tarp in my truck, going to wrap it and throw it in the rafters of the garage.  8th bike in the house...doh!

The ammo hording kicked in this weekend. sad.png

I scored too. Local Wally World had UMC .40 box of 250 for $93. I bought the 2 boxes they had on the shelf. Sure, not the best ammo, but it shoots and it will work for practice.

Same ammo I got, 9mm was $55 for 250 rounds. Got my son 4 boxes so he can shoot his new piece in.

Illinois is one of those funny states that require and FOID, aren't they?

In 2011, in the case of People v. Holmes, the Illinois Supreme Court ruled that non-Illinois residents who are permitted to possess a firearm in their home state are not required to have an Illinois FOID card when in possession of firearms or ammunition in Illinois,

Neat.

Wouldn't hurt to get a CHL either, I suppose, especially with dumbshit laws like this:

Without a concealed carry license, a firearm must be unloaded and enclosed in a case when it is being transported

I need to see if they still stock handgun ammo in ours. I could use some cheap brass for my .45 S&W. I miss hitting the range.

Can you lay it down in the boat? Might help prevent any real chance he sees it early.

The boat is 150 miles from here.  Swapped trailers this weekend.
