So my first season (may have been first game) over 2 years ago now, I didn't get my hand out of the way of a ball fast enough and it tweaked my wrist. My wrist still isn't back to %100. Yesterday lifting it was all of a sudden, Boom, pain.

Funny because even if you only Brown the shit out of hamburger and are boring and deglaze with water, add some diced onion, a wee bit of mustard, and ketchup to taste you'll have sloppy Joes that at better than I've ever had in a restaurant.

What I made the other night was actually pretty good,It suprised me I did not think it would be that easy. And have the taste of sloppy joes that I have been used to but way better.I can eat like 4 big sloppy joes at one setting everytime I make it..I know I will not be using the canned manwich as it is just as easy to make from scratch.

Writing some quick "cupping notes" here so I'll remember later.

HM measured the water from my Mr. Coffee at 175°F (79°C). Left the thermister in and the temp dropp to 172°F. I expected ti to rise on the hot plate. Heat loss could have been from opening lid to put in thermsiter.

My normal amount of coffee I grind is ~18 grams.

The Crema from the Mr. Coffee water is less than the Kuerig water at work. I assume the Keurig gets to a higher temp. IIRC my parents adustable one went from 188° to 192°F, Not sure if you can trust it though.

Need to spend some time comparing brewing methods and see what yield the best result.

Need to take the HM to work to measure Keurig water temp (Maybe use infrared thermometer for ease of use)

mmmmm Coffee.

I love the smell of coffee, but it's nasty to me unless it's very sweet. By then, what's the point?

I do like me some coffee. Don't care to get into roasting though when the shop in town roasts a coupe times a week and puts roast dates on their stuff. I do grind my own, bought a cheaper burr grinder and really like it.

I get the water to boil then pour just enough to wet the grounds so they bloom, wait about 30s then pour the rest.

What's so special about the Chemex again? It looks sweet but a lot like a normal drip brew

Sean can you help me with a fairly easy recipe for homemade coleslaw with fresh veggies? No bags of ready mix stuff or bottled coleslaw dressing. I have fresh heads of cabbage and carrots to work with I can go to a fruit market if needed before it gets to late.

Thanks,

Michael

The filters are different than paper so you end up with a different taste, but other than that there's nothing really special about them. I just liked the simplicity and look. :)

I have decided I am going to go ahead and purchase the C6 wheels from oewheelsllc.com..

http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/Wheels-for-Corvette_4/19-Fits-Chevrolet-Corvette-Starfish-OEM-Wheel-Gunmetal-19x10-18x8-5

Now does anybody have any recommendations for tires 18x8.5 in front and 19x10 in the rear and good site to purchase.

Thanks,

Michael

So what is everybody going to get into this labor day weekend?

Replaced the alternator, battery, and serpintine belt on my brother's Blazer earlier today. Tonight I'm going out to watch UFC.

Tomorrow is homework and fantasy football draft.
