He he, I was looking at those yesterday. I can't deny their results, but if I go FI, it will be with Hellion.

I LOVE this engine! Going to order a forged rotating assembly and shoot for 9K. The current tune cuts out at 7.8 and the bitch still pulls with the Boss intake.

Hopefully I can get next week off and get on a dyno and check the tune fully.

Ordered a Roush grill kit and OEM foglights to move them to the lower corners.

I need to build some ramps too as neither of my low profile jacks fit under the car.

wish ford would have put it in the exploder
The soccer moms want MPGs. I'd hate to see the price on that too! The Sport is $50K+, so I imagine the Coyote would push it into Shelby territory.

Actually, that might work. It SHOULD be in the Expedition/Navigator.

I want Shelby territory
I looked at one last night and there was an extra sticker on it for $7K and it stated, "market adjustment." The car's been sitting on their lot since March.

Do we get pictures of the new ride?

J

All I got so far. Been frying the skins off it since I picked it up. The Pirellis won't last the month.20150711_165404_zpsclly6wcl.jpg

:Vids stfu:

I certainly wouldn't object to seeing them. It's a sweet color.

It's pretty common where I lived back home. I had a friend wake up with his wheels and tires gone on his 2 day old truck (stock 20s) and he lived in a gated apartment complex

We had a similar situation while I lived in AZ. A total of 15 different guys on base and in town had their rims stolen. 10 cars were on blocks, the others were just dropped onto their rotors. Never caught the bastards either.

What are you guys buying for tires?

Mine are starting to wear unevenly (meaning its time for an alignment) as the outer tread leaves a chunk between it and the top of Lincolns head, and the inner covers his hair, I figure I should get new rubber. I am HOPING to drive to NY at the end of the month and get them while home. I noticed the Terra Grapplers look great, but they Don't grip so nice on FL asphalt when it's lightly raining.

This will make two sets of rubber in under 70k miles.

Getting to the fucking GM connector was a bitch...until I got aggressive and took EVERYTHING fucking off.  Was going to solder...didn't feel like pulling all the shit out and contorting myself and in the end HIGHLY regretted not doing what I was going to do in the first place.

Either way, worked first time....or at least the Joycon recognizes all of my button pushes.  Now I get to figure out how to map them to toggle and such.  I would have done that up front, but the icons are teeny and with a touchscreen only thought I'd wait to grab a mouse.

so you need to tap the wire before it goes in the canbus? I guess the issue i had is that i just tapped the wire at the headunit harness.

edit. or was it not bus at all?

I don't have a canbus connector.  Probably don't need the PAC-SWI actually, but for some reason a year ago I thought I did so I bought one.  Made it easy though as it had reasonable instructions.  Confusing as shit, but real obvious once you get beyond the backwards thinking used to write it.

PAC -> Joycon -> PC

It didn't work first shot when I had the PAC set to Alpine, but when I switched to Pio it did just fine.  One of my buttons is mapped identically though, but that was probably my slip up during the programming of the PAC itself.  I haven't figured out what I want it to be yet though so I am not stressed.  If I need more I can hijack the cruise control buttons too, lol.

Each button has Short/Long/Toggle as well.  Makes the alt+tab button sweet.  Windows button is necessary too, but long pressed it alt+f4 or closes whatever window you have open.  Pretty much between those two Win8 makes a great interface.  Using a simple front end that is XML configured outside of Navigation/MiniDSP/HPTuners to take care of everything else...including starting the listed programs.

My dad won't take his truck to the local mall. It's right on I10 and early 2000's F250's are notoriously easy to break into if you don't have a special plate installed behind your door handle.

I know one guys who's truck was stolen. They found the truck stripped. Then another family friend got his stolen. When he got it back the back seat was ripped out and it had about 20,000 more miles on it.

Don't know if this is a good price, or of use for anyone, but I thought I'd share this with you guys.

Very nice tubes. My Telefunkens (interestingly the ECC83s as well) are '57s. Price is fair, but not fantastic... about what I paid for mine. Mine measured at 98.3 and 98.7, so I assume those are the high gain long plates. Looking at the image I would say they are long plates. They are preamp tubes that replace all variants of ECC83,12AX7,12AU7.

I love my Hankook DynaPro ATMs. I got 60K out of them and I wasn't very good about rotating.

Nitto 420s on the truck now, just put them on...but from what I've read on street trucks they hook and last.  And the hook part is true.  Actually tearing up my driveway a bit, lol

I had less luck with those Sean, but I do feel I am alone in that. Maybe the set I had were not in good condition.

Knobby and good in the snow on a road is rare.

maybe my issue is with the PAC programming as you explained. I had a feeling I was really close to figuring it but ran out of patience at the time.

The best thing for you to do is go window shopping at a big chain store that has everything so you can find what fits your hand the best. All semi auto hands guns in CA are going to be small magazine capacity. My preference is a 45 ACP for hand guns, but that might not be yours.

Find what you feel comfortable with, remember if the gun does not feel good in your hand you will not want to shoot it.

Springfield XD lines.

Springfield EMP 1911

Glock

S&W

Sig Sauer

Ruger

There are lots of very good brands to choose from. Once you know what you want got to Gallary of Guns and see who has the best deal in your area.

Remember you will either like the fit or not, there is no maybe in hand guns believe me.

Yours were probably shot.  Mine I bought brand new.  Worked superb in the snow and okay on the ice.  That being said, at 50,000mi they didn't look all that worn but didn't work anymore in that regard either.  Knobby tires are deceiving on when they are "worn out".

If you press a button but don't see the little line move on the Joycon it is upstream.

I stayed away from the BFG All-Terrain here after seeing multiple reviews where they weren't much better off road than Hankook Dynapro ATM's and Toyo Open Country's, and were considerably worse on the road. Considering I spent 99% of my time on road I can't see paying more for less road performance.
