DMT.

Bucket list for sure.

I'm a stimulant addict I suppose. I can stop pretty easily but self medicating is a lot more effective.

Why is it that alcohol is a drug you don't need a prescription for? Plus how much cost does it add to the health care system.

Same as nicotine really,it is the most addictive drug..

Nicotine isn't the most addictive.

I quit heroin much easier than nicotine, and it was no short term low dollar habit. Between coke and heroin I was on a $3-500 a day habit, so yes I have synapse issues associated with long term and hard core heroin use... Nicotine still owns me to this day.

Chewing tobacco or cigarettes?

I'm happy LSD, DMT, psilocybin, and mescaline aren't like that.

And so much better than... well, I gotta say cocaine has always been my true love. But I haven't known her for 17 years now.

DMT? I think next week, since I am taking the week off. I need to see God again soon.

Seth, a friend is dealing with what I assume to be a busted wave plate in her 07-08 equinox.

Do you know what she should be charged for that repair? She was told it would probably need a new transmission also. And they(dealer I believe) want $4000.

That sounds crazy high, but I know nothing.

Wave plate warranty has been extended on 07-10 vehicles to 10 year 120,000 miles.

Price is about right. Damage should be significant and the trannys are not really serviceable. Trans rebuilding is almost a thing of the past... very few out there doing them.

Thanks. She is at 134. Completely fucked.

:-)

She should contact GM. The dealer will tell her to fuck off, but corporate does extend warranties from time to time.

I smoked cigs for over 35 years. Now I vape and smoke an occasional cigar. Been cig free for just a couple months shy of 2 years now.

Never popped any cola.

I'm not rich enough for that. I need to make >$100/year before I am allowed to try it.

That's not a bad idea. Thanks for the tip. Can't hurt.

Is that for a brand new trans included in the price? Labor cost at most dealers is horrible.sad.png

You and your transexual desires are rather obvious to us.

And another US soldier in Romania drives drunk, crashes and almost kills 2 people and does not even take an alcohol test.

Last time this happened a soldier crashed into a taxi and killed somebody, nothing ever happened to him.

Shame...

First my condolences for the loss of your fellow countrymen. Any time something like this happens it deeply saddens me.

That being said, wrong or right, in foreign Countries the US Government witholds the right to punish anyone commiting a crime in a foreign country before the local juristiction can prosecute. That being said, it is rather probable that when the Soldier was returned to base that he or she was given a BAC test and locked in the brig. Now can I guarantee it happens that way? Nope. But it sure as shit is supposed to. A lot depends on rank and that is pure shit. I certainly hope something happens. Please update us when you hear more Adrian.

It sucks and I hope things will be made right. Best thing now is to hope the people who he crashed recover well.

Much like keeping marijuana illegal, it all comes down to money and a lack of knowledge.

Actually, the issue with weed is how little it could really be taxed. It is super easy and inexpensive to grow. IIRC the total cost of growing weed is less than 5% the cost of tobacco. Taxing a nearly free to produce product in a manner that the market will deem acceptable is a difficult task. In all seriousness we would toss some seeds in the fields when we were kids, come back 2 months later and pick buds. It requires almost no effort, no prep, no cost.

a few years ago one took a RPG I will see if I can find a link..

That sounds peaceful, I imagine that would happen in South America...

Are you sure you're in North America?

Moar fun on the Jeep install. Alternator whine is gone, now I had some crackle. Crackle would go away from time to time and wiggling the wires I found out that the jacket of an RCA touched a screw on the amp case. When that happened the crackle was gone.

Poking around with a wire, grounding the RCA to any ground made the crackle go away but the alternator whine would return, except when grounding to the amp case. So I did the old Pioneer fix (soldering inside the amp would've required taking out the board and I'm not going to do that)

Now I have to make sure the amp case does not ground to that metal plate under it, or I will get alternator whine again.

Having to do that doesn't seem like "Absolutely State of the Art Mobile Audio."

It's not. however, according to the people at MiniDSP, these were not meant initially to go in a car. Nothing except the amps was meant to go in a car. Strange how I fixed my ground loop. The Zapco doesn't have continuity between the RCA jacket and the amp case either.
