Can't go as low as the first one either.  I am a couple inches higher and get some minimal rubbing when there is a bunch of articulation and corner.  Pretty sure a ziptie and two well placed holes would resolve mine 100% though.   Going to drop my rear a bit more, but not until the 305's are on.

The third pic shown in the top post. The black with the (looks like) brushed aluminum wheels. Those look pretty damn nice IMO.J
Thanks for picking the $800 wheels (that is each not a set). :( Regrettably I like them in descending order of price.  Aargh.
Much like yourself, I seem to have expensive taste. You unlike me, have the salary to afford such a taste.I have champange tastes on a discount whiskey budget.
The reason I can afford it is because I am too cheap to do so though. Want/need and will spend are very different in my life.
They are VERY different. I look at all three on any major purchase. Hell its why I haven't picked up another bass yet.I want a custom fretless Dean jazz bass.I don't need a new bass right nowI can afford to wait.
I was going to sell my other guitar...lol. Not sure anymore. At least not until I buy another. I mean hell, I ordered another wall holder today. I suppose I could throw the bass up on it, but I don't have time to relearn 2 instruments atm.

That you don't. But it is nice to have both up. Remind me, what do you have for a bass?

Saw what was a great Fender P-Bass that someon fucked up by adding a silver dollar to the body. Was a nice oiled body too, with AMG pickups. Fretted though.

Logged into my playlist.com account to see if they would still let me build playlists. Well it has my old playlists saved but won't let me add anything. Looks like they are trying to be an internet radio station now. wtf

67 results in the app store for playlist makers. A suggestion from someone that uses one wouldn't suck.

I had a Jazz Bass and an even sweeter Peavey but sold them in college. About 10 years ago I grabbed a used Indonesian Ibanez Gio Bass. Fundamentally it is a bass, that is about it. Actually plays nice after I dialed it in, but is far from a real instrument. Allows me to have one though with no investment.

Anyone have a preference of breaker bar head styles?

I bought a craftsman expecting some day I'd break it, haven't yet. It is a solid handle. Personally the warranty is more important than the overall strength, but obviously I want no garbage.

Putting on a company meeting the last week of June, would prefer it be someplace in the "central" us that is easy and somewhat cheap to get to.

Any ideas?

My thoughts so far are:

Boulder, CO

Austin, TX

Memphis, TN

New Orleans, LA

Chicago, IL --> probably 86 this just due to price. Hotels downtown in the summer are awful and we need a meeting room

Is VERY unlikely I will buy new so a warranty is a moot point. I will buy a name brand one though. The head style is about the only real difference when comparing. The outer "c" style head seems more logical but most are designed with the "c" on the handle portion. Now you see my curiosity.

Boulder or New Orleans seem like the obvious chooses, BUT I am sure there are factors at play I am unaware of.

Where are the offices located that you worry most about distance wise?

Do a good chunk of those attending bring the wife and kids since school is out?

How many people are you expecting to attend?

Each of these dictates a part of my response.

Honestly, the Craftsman solid handle is the way to go. They really are not that expensive (maybe 20-25 bucks) and the warantee is worth it. Hell if you can find a used one locally, but it, take it to sears/kmart and get a new one on the exchange. They don't require original recept to honor their warantee.

I keep finding Peavy guitars around here all the time. It's making me jones for our own place even more. I miss playing, and want to start slowly building my collection.
