If I'm spending any time on concrete floors or similar, the arch support is needed for sure.

Short walks and on earth, sand, or turf would be ok I bet.

Concrete is EVIL

Yes it is Sean, I spend 12 + hours on it everyday I work.

Thus far the Keens have not let me down.

Vivobarefoot, gobi soa.

Fuck, and they come in 15 which MAY be big enough. Of course, that color isn't available seemingly anymore.

Food coma in 5, 4, 3, 2....

What was for lunch?

I have been trying to add your Apple and a walk routine for when I'm sleepy in the afternoon.

It works ok. I'm having trouble eating "healthy" or decent portions.

Definitely not getting enough protein for my work outside, but this is helping temper my hunger and tiredness while not eating shit.

Tuna (yes I eat some fish after heavy lifting days), yogurt, banana, peanuts, and apple.  I snack between each meal.  Can you sneak in small meals through out the day to help reduce large portions at standard meal times?

I like raw tuna out of the can.."In spring water" I can eat about 4-5 cans at once with crackers for a snack, very high in protein!

You might find it if you search around. My biggest complaint with these shoes was just finding them. Emailed the company and they had no idea when their next shipment was coming other than soon--WTF. Luckily I checked Zappos a few times a week until they popped up. But if they completely stopped that color then yeah you're probably fucked.

Raw and in can, ROFL. Takes heat to can. Exactly why it tastes like shit.

You know what I meant, "RAW" like with no garbage to make tuna fish salad... Not "RAW" off the damn fishing pole! madsign.gif

That's awesome. One of my friends got me into it when he visited over break. He's no pro or anything, but climbs a lot of V8s. I got my work cut out for me. :D

Inedible canned

I hate that garbage in vegetable oil...But I like the spring water tuna "in a can" it's cheap, easy and good for you for a snack.. I would not eat it for a meal though....Besides that I don't eat much fish/seafood..Except shrimp I always go  overboard  with those on the grill !! Most of the time,I am hit for a bill or better just on shrimp when I cook out...

So the wife and I are planning a Caribbean trip this summer. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. We have been looking at all-inclusive (tries to hide from Sean), but we are open to anything. My Spanish level is very low (unfortunately sad.png )

While we are there we would be interested in kayaking, hiking and of course some time on the beach. I'm always up for good food.

It's Carleton. National Merit Scholarship is basically a pre-requisite to get in. I was dumb compared to most of my friends there says a lotcoming from a guy with a 34 on the ACT and 790 SAT Math. Gave me a better financial aid package than any of the Ivy's.

Think rock climbing in a manmade cave. Allows you to practice pretty much all angles of approach & work on stretch/balance. Not so helpful for training for crack climbing...that is unless there has been some technology change. If there is, I'd get excited to go again. tongue.png

Neither my wife or I speak Spanish and we honeymooned in Chile where they do NOT speak English for shit. Hardest non-China to get around I've been to. Tropical islands are easy, everyone speaks English.

Think of it this way. You own a world class vacation spot (ie visitors from all over the world). So what is the most logical language to learn? That's right the world's second language. US, UK, Australia, Singapore, South Africa and some other shit countries aside it is what everyone learns second. Obviously the best choice if you live in a touristy location. Works everywhere. The further you go off the beaten path the harder it gets, but if you are looking at all inclusive you aren't the type to find those spots then anyways.

And of course, if you truly want to experience the food and/or culture then the only way you can do that is to leave the beaten path.

Of course, to be fair and tame the high horse. Being gone for more than 2 days, sitting on a beach and doing nothing all day is not a vacation, its a torture.
