What surprised me is the cost of an AR. What I thought was a good deal was not as good as I thought.

I'M SORRY I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF MY GIANT THROBBING ERECTION

Definitely boner inducing.

Meh. I prefer 200 rounds, belt fed.

While expensive they can be a great firearm. I still prefer the AK in terms of reliabilty, but the AR in terms of accuracy.

Just knocked another $15 off the monthly expenses. Called my cable company and got a non advertised 15Mbps plan. It is quite the drop from 50Mbps but I found out my router was limiting me to 30 over wifi. I figure 15 is plenty as long as the latency is low (which it is).

Awesome Matt!

Better celebrate and get that liver on track with some shots.

Perfect, just did

I don't understand guitar amps. How are they different from "power amps" or any other amp?

In general tubes color the sounds right?

No difference on "clean" channels. Same trade offs with gain/distortion. OF course if you want to use that to your advantage for thrash you start to stack distortion channels. The release of the Marshall JCM 800 was the time when this was possible. It changed music forever.

ie, take a tube pre-amp and a tube power amp. Now overdrive the shit out of the pre-amp and plug it into the power amp and MAGIC happens if it is only a guitar.

Every best listening experience I have had, the speakers were fed by tube amps.

When you are put in a smaller room with some 20.1 Maggie's and a pile of McIntosh amps.... Or some Wilson watt puppies..... Yeah man. It was epic.

I wish I could afford it.

There were watt puppies in the basement of my house when I made my offer. It included them. Everything else in my offer was accepted sad.png

Of course I shouldn't complain considering I bought the house for 58% of asking price in 07 before the big DROP

Found some amazing work gloves while goggles shopping. Sweet.

These.

http://www.klim.com/Elite-Glove-4096-000.html#58275

Spent less than that price though.

Return them, they suck. I have a pair and they are fundamentally useless. A $50 pair of FXR are better. Sucks as I wanted really hard to like them as they solve all my other concerns about gloves.

Klim stuff normally rocks, but the Elite glove is a joke. Even at $40 I'd feel ripped off.

They are uber comfortable for aggressive riding, but if it gets cold they suck donkey dick. Literally the worst glove I have for real cold and I have 6 pairs atm. The next most expensive was $40 sad.png

Post dumping example: I list my old Alpine HU for sale, one guy says it looks very used (pictures taken under a powerful light to show everything), 3 say they bought another one for far less money but they did not notice I'm selling it with the Ipod adapter and the price is not fixed and another says it's stolen.

Really, STOLEN? This is a new low for post dumping.

She knows who the alpha is. She just seems to forget for about 3/4 of the walk. The first and last 1/8th she is fine. Beyond that she keeps trying to pull like a sled dog.

I put the leash under one of the front legs. Seems to help. Makes them pull their head towards the ground when they pull.
