I'm immune compromised from enbrel. I haven't slept more than 5 hours per day until last night. So busy, no time.

I feel worse for the wife right now however. She sounds like I felt. I'm like the perfect incubator. Just enough immune system to strengthen that flu up and hand it out. Living on purel and vitamin c and day/Nyquil.

Man I know the feeling brother..That sux I don't have the flu but I have had a bad sinus infection for like three weeks and have had the shits for like 2 weeks my ass feels like I have wiped my ass with a piece of 60 grit sandpaper! i took a flu shot this year my employer has a onsite clinic and we get 100% free medical treatment so I figured might as well because it was free..But they are saying now the virus that is the problem this year was not covered in this years vaccine..

Do you have someone who has made cuatom turbo headers before that you trust? Do you know a tuner that is good with fi?

Between those two a hot, cold side turbo, Nov and piping you will easily be in for 5-7 grand and still need lower compression, head studs, a custom cam, and a prayer that it can wijhold boost. To make the power of a v8 with mild work you'll have either a shit ton of hours or 10g's in a time bomb. Doowhatchalike but you are going down a silly path.

The money is not really a factor in this project..but time is I was just looking for  the lowest boost possible at this time..

If I was interested in a v8 swap i would use the 97 z28  body I have,or the 2002 SS or I would play with the 86 Iroc or maybe the daily 95 z28 Idk I am a collector this if for amusement purposes only.

Yeah, im also going to college, just a handful of classes till I'm done and earn a certificate in welding, then I can get a job that I like to do and pays better. Taking a Tig class in January; so far I can only run flat beads with Tig, I think it's going to be a pain in the ass,but in a 4 month class, I'll have it down by the end of the semester

Welding can be fun sometimes...I like mig myself..but I never really got into it as much as some of the other courses I had to take in school..

Yeah I like mig, stick, and Tig. Mig being the easiest of the three IMO, and the hell with oxy-acatylene I don't have enough patience for that. Edited December 28, 2014 by Stephen93s10

Welding was the worst I did in school next to CAD Was never really interested..I like stick never got into Tig much But mig was where it was at.I can still weld thin gauge sheet metal with the voltage and wire speed cranked up!! I did have to take a short course on plasma but was not really interested.But stick on stainless is a biotch!!

Yeah, we have CNC plasma and a few plasma cutters around the shop. I tried running a flat bead on stainless with Tig and it wasn't even close to running a bead on mild steel.
