The water-oil cooler in the Jeep took a dump. 

Heads had casting sand in them and a couple hundred miles after the install I started noticing oil in coolant and oil temps were a tad higher than before. Typical Ford 6.0 oil cooler failure symptoms and even causes, I think)

Fast forward to last week, I remove the radiator to change it and flush the system. Normal radiator flush does nothing, I step up to washing soda solution, which works a treat. But filling the overflow bottle and running the electric water pump (pushes from overflow to water pump input and further to radiator output), a lot of oil keeps coming out. Oil cooler output is very close to water pump input, so it makes sens there's a lot of oil there. 

Yeah...time for another oil cooler. It's a very uncommon failure (headgasket has no oil passages, heads are very thick where water comes close to oil) so I ordered a used one in working condition.

went to a formal dinner with 70 people tonight at a Michelin star restaurant.

 

I wore Birks and shorts.  Everyone else in suits. 

 

We have one Michelin star restaurant in town. Really curious to try it out

Had I had my brain on straight I would have this year. I was so distracted with vendors, shopping and asking those who have Turboed LS's before questions that trying to have some fun just didn't pop into my mind. Then I was tired, hungry and ran back to try to make it out with a few friends.*

*never happened as the driver got a BWI on their way to pick me up. Rest of the guys took turns blowing to see who could drive the boat back heckling the rent-a-boat-cop in the process. Videotaped that as well.
