Found a definitive answer on what is available.

Pretty cool that the heads up in the middle of the dash can be a display, but of course they also sell computer software.

Sure hope that there are vendors for similar items at Summer Nats this year. I've only looked at cars there before, never shopped for stuff. This year is different.

Boys and the W will be out of town at my bro's lake, but since I leave for Europe on Sat I am staying home.

Any of those mini class T amps available with built in car power supplies and an enclosure?

I need a simple 2 channel for powering the rear speakers. Going to exclusively have an input to them from the DVD playing portion of my carPC. It will allow me to play music then up front and still have the kids listen to something in the back. Or of course have nothing up front and have sound in the back. Don't need the rears for anything else....

Also going to be my stop gap sub amplifier until I build a box and figure out what I can run. Power first, audio next but this is stopgap smile.png

I searched but thought you all might have seen one already. Not a big deal to add a power supply, but once you do that you are over the price of a PPI which is then pointless and without enclosure. I have enough bare boards going into this build I don't need more.

Might buy the wife and daughter their own handguns to play with. She liked this one. Any thoughts?

http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/mosquito-purple.aspx

Unlike other Sig pistols, I haven't heard many good things about the Mosquito.

I have been reading that, but also read that sig has redone this gun to help with the jamming issues in 2012.

I am not sure yet as I am going to look a little harder at the 1911-22.

Anything in .22 is a bad idea for reliability IMHO. But a 1911 with a .22 conversion makes a lot of sense from many perspectives. It would hold value and could be a decent sidearm.

With how hard .22 has been to find, and my experience with at least 1 in 500 rounds always being dead even from the best MFG it's only good for paper and plinking.

You said no one is going to carry so then any 22 will do. I would recommend a heavy bull barrel Ruger or similar. If you just want it for accuracy.

Meh... were I buying a .22 pistol it would be the PMR30 .22mag. My service manager has one and it is quite impressive...

I had their sub2000 rifle for a while, pretty shitty if you ask me--perhaps their pistols are built better.

That PMR-30 to me is a pretty badass looking varmit pistola, hard to beat 30rds of .22 mag for critters.

It'll probably go in the W's Lumina before in my beater truck.  :)

She wants something, but I need to look through my pile of stuff to see what I have first.

ML was always stock, but the HK system in there I'd bet would score higher than Randal's truck in an SQ comp.

Esky is stock too, current Bose stuff sucks. More than enough bass though.

She wasn't pleased when I told her a subwoofer would be the last item added.
