He was watching tv last night. Might be a start to...

He will never admit to it, but we might catch him making a pop culture reference.

Quite possible.

I had lobster stuffed chicken. I ordered because it was odd and new to the menu. Definitely odd. Worked. In a weird way.

Foie salad with a soft boiled and lardon was yummy. Big prawns were perfect.

Buddy got a nori crusted sirloin in ponzu. I dislike sirloin and never get steak as unless the place is a steak place, but the flavor was great. On a NY strip or fillet it may have been perfect.

Pear tart was disappointing. I love pear and it would have been better with Apple's.

Exutive chef was a classmate of the buddy I went with. We looked super gay.

Also I think my friend may have picked on the chef at one point. So I'm fairly certain our food was covered in jizz and it was still great!

Sure it's weird, but since they have one, they probably know how to work one.

At least that's how you described it after a few too many beers on the boat.

Now I need to decide on what wide angle to get.......

Or buy a daily lens that already gets wide.

We shoot differently. I bought a wide before a zoom.

Although to be fair I owned a Superzoom first.

Indeed, I shoot 90% people and indoors a lot, or LOW light.

It makes that Sigma with 1.8f really appealing. It goes against my buying only FF lenses.

So, do I buy the Sigma be happy with the low light skills for now but have a lens that won't work on the FF, buy the Tokina or similar and learn to "cope" with 2.8, or buy a FF lens and the Tokina wide and have better ISO and better light sensing skills now?

We need to know.

So, help me think......

I always want shallow DOF, and more light.

I will get a FF at some point and have one crop and one FF.

The new 5Div is probably on the way, and so is the remodeled 7D.

The sigma is wide with lots of light, but cannot be used on the inevitable FF.

Buying a new body before the new ones release would be a bad idea as even if I don't want the latest and best, the last gen will drop in price.....

If I get the Tokina it will only go to 16mm and on a crop, that ain't so wide.

Why wide and low light? Get a tripod....

Then on top buy used and sell when you upgrade. Crop will approach and then pass ff at some point....although that crop will take different lenses.
