Made for the Iditarod, or at least the guy who wins is normally wearing them. No idea how warm, but they fuckin work great for ice fishing. Standing still all day on the ice will make lesser boots fail.

Ice drinking without a house is not ok to do on the regular.

I think houses are for sleeping in, not fishing. Drinking on the ice is a no brainer.
