Oh, they put me on Celebrex for a while after the Naproxen killed my stomach, same problem...  Then 800mg Motrin...

Motrin, the mil spec cure all.

:)

It works the best for pain for me, but didn't do shit for helping my joints.

Like I said, had to just go 100% with PT.  That was in 06'.  I have been pain free in that area at least the last 5-6 years...

Now I am just being a pussy when I get sore because nothing is really injured anymore...  I am just getting older and I can tell...

I got real serious with eating right about 10 years ago, that, and a regimented workout routine seems to be doing OK...  I don't lift heavy either.

I'm a sick fat mess and getting worse, but I have an action plan and am taking steps.

It's hardest to be smart instead of just plow into things at 200%.

I turned 30, got hit with the arthritis, then found the diabetes because I was bed rested.

It is what it is.

I could really use some tramadol myself. Absolute best pain killer I have ever used.

Next to the cocaine eye drops when something made out of fire and burning fell into my eye.

I don't think cocaine eye drops would do much for my hands.

:)

But... I would be willing to try it for science.

Trick is to make a lifestyle change.  That is the hard part.  This whole loose weight in a month shit is so stupid.

I am lucky, my parents were both athletes.  I was raised strictly with eating and excersise.  I didn't even know my father was a alcoholic and IV drug user until way later in life when I he told me about his past.  So I basically went from super healthy household straight into the military 17 years ago.  I tried smoking a little, but that was about it.  I don't drink much either.  But one of the things I have done over the last decade is help people in the military that need to get their physical life sorted so they don't die when they are 50.  I know it is tough, but everyone can do it, I have at least seen that...  But you can't do it all at once, takes time...  blah blah blah...

Wire you out?

As in wake you up? Me and a buddy who is in constant pain from being an idiot in the navy is the only other person I know who gets revved up from opiates. If he takes a vicoden he doesn't sleep. Same with me.

Not being in pain is like fresh air and a nap in the sunshine with cool lemonade. I become extremely lucid and awake.

Yeah. That is the truth for me more than ever. I cannot rush into things and sort it out later.

I have to plan my changes and go from there. My diet is not as good as it was at one point but it's a hell of a lot better than it could be. My metabolism is so slow now, I eat about 1/3 the calories.

At my most active I was at about 6000-7000 a day and loosing weight though.

Weight will kill you almost more than anything else.  And it is tough to keep off if you can't be active.

Starving only works in concentration camps, for about a year or so...

Opiates wire me the fuck out.

Hydrocodone was like a cross between Ritalin and alcohol for me. Super focused and concentrated, but super spacy at the same time. Made me shit bricks, too. Like, literal bricks. Could not take without stool softener.
