Boneless/skinless chicken should never be purchased. Ick. At least give me the love of the only good part of the bird which is the skin. Bone is useful as well, but skin is necessary. As with all birds cooking them in their own or similar fat is usually the best way.

We eat a lot since it's a cheap, quick, and healthy protein that can be thrown in a lot of different dishes. Plus the fact they freeze pretty well means we always have some.

Basically why I buy it.

Chicken by nature is processed bullshit. I rarely eat it. Nastiest of all animals. Use pork instead. Cheaper, better, tastier and isn't raised nearly as shitty.

And btw, the healthy side of it is bullshit. We bred all the healthiness out of poultry decades ago.

Didn't know people used recipes for soup tongue.png

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/roasted-tomato-soup-recipe.html

*I didn't read any instructions on that recipe but the ingredients are fine.

Do you have a good immersion blender or a real blender? If not, you won't be making tomato soup that makes you go, Ahhhh.

And the cheap aspect is bullshit too. Not sure why you are all so confused. Boneless, skinless, useless breasts are $6-8/lb. I bought nice Ribeye's two days ago for $5.99/lb. Raised in a much better environment and not pumped full of fucking hormones either. Actually has a little healthy fat instead of none as well.

And to top it off it tastes like shit in general too. If it weren't for the skin it is hardly edible.

It seems with the weather that is all people are doing. I never watch local channels anymore because the bullshit news and shows that promote nonsense.

It is a shitty picture but shows you how much. It would be nice if it would warm up above freezing so this would melt.

Make your own paste or buy one?

Make my own usually. I rely on a spice blend however and usually just up the cumin

I usually pay $3 a pound for breasts at Costco in the vac bag. Just sayin. But yes I agree, it isn't cheap or healthy.

That is the sale price regularly..... Or regular price at Costco.

Usually the best tasting and lowest cost. If I buy a whole rib roast I have paid as low as 3 bucks a pound on sale for choice, and once 8.99 for choice aged.

Not unusual to see $4.50/lb at the Restaurant Depot.
