I think that applies to anything you like doing that you turn into a career. I know I could care less if I evere install another head unit again.

As with any trade I just can't look at them the same. I am definitely not complaining as I can't really think of another trade I would want to be in that is realistically possible.

Honestly the job choices I would like to be in, will take some time to get to.

Soon I will begin the transition I hope.

Plus ladies love the beefcake

Also useful for chucking 50 lb. objects on to the roof of a two story building with one arm

If they were smart they would have set up a camera and fined their ass for stealing federal property

"If" being the key word.

They were too stoned to think of that.

How cheap would I have to get this bike to make it worth it? (CL ad didn't have pics).

The wifey REALLY wants a bike and I'm thinking if it fits her okay it would be a perfect "1st bike that your going to grow out of quickly anyways and sell to get a new one".

Very happy to say this house is sealed up to the attic. Had to turn the pellet stove down to 65 to make things nice and not so hot.

Sealed every gap around the windows and electrical box too.

With everybody in bed, I can't use my paradigm's at the level they like. :(

One of the apartments I had in college was pretty new, and I ended up just turning off the heat before going to bed, then turning it back on to 65F while I was out. Electricity bills were practically nonexistent during the winter months.

While I don't think I can do that, I am pretty close. Currently a bag of pellets every other day.

Is the temp job still screwing you around?

Yes they are. Was originally only supposed to be temp for 90 days then full hire after that as long as I met the bar. I have exceeded the bar everytime and am consistantly being handed extra responsibility with out extra pay. I just want a full hire position, and my beneifits. Worst part is the people who have gotten full hire (shift supers, QA) are making about 25 cents less an hour, and have full benefits now. Just shocked to hear that the rate of pay goes down with finally getting benefits.

For those contemplating seeing Jared for ink, get off your ass and do it. One of the best guys I have met, lives in a beautiful part of CO, and cooks some fucking amazing food!!! I still need to go back and see him to finish my other sleeve.

J

He drew my big arm piece. smile.png

Thanks for the kind words J. I look forward to putting the finishing touches on the one sleeve and jamming out the other arm!

Aaron, I wish I could of done the tattoo for you also. I have visions of a b&g super realistic one up the back of the other arm!

As I started tattoo'ing out of enjoyment and to be that guy that tatt'ed up all his friends and family. I love leaving a piece of me on people for life and also their souls. biggrin.png

I am honestly considering doing another one on the left arm.  This one took 14 hours.  But then again, a sleeve is something in the back of my mind also.

Not to say homie was slow but I personally could of done it in quite a bit less time. I am VERY deliberate and don't mess around as time is money. With that being said, I will tell you the same I told Jordan. A plane ticket, rental car and hotel are probably less than paying someone to do 8-12 hrs of tatt work on you as I would do the work for free if you make it here.

I can't accept free work.

Meh. I usually tell friends and fam to just pay enough to cover supplies and overhead. I would already have done a cross country trek to ink and meet all the SSA brothers, but life has not permitted it.

Aaron,

Take the time to take this man up on the offer. I am hoping to make the trip in May or June for my next session. Bring the lady along to see CO too.

J

If its meant to happen, it will happen. The offer is there for you Aaron. I know how you are about taking things for free as you wouldn't even let me give your boy Lego's without giving something in return. Which btw was worth about double what I sent you.

I don't accept free, Neal has really tested me.  ;)  I forgot what I sent you, but Arthur loves the legos and builds with them often.  :)  As for coming out, travel for me is relative based on stored up vacation time based on time elapsed from layoff/new job turnover.  In all honesty, I'm so programmed to not take any time off whatsoever as to be prepped for the next layoff to carry me over until I find a new job.

I'm sorry, but I just can not see the point in that.  Hell, I can't see a point in lifting at all unless you need to build muscle for your athletic career.

Regular lifting, helps with bone density, joints, etc. and just all around health.  People give me shit for working out and eating the way I do, but I have not been sick (at least sick enough to miss a day of work) in a good many years.
