picked up a cheap mechanical keyboard. hope the mx blues aren't too loud. wanted browns but the was too good.

Good to know, I love my mx blue switches, sound included. I just use the laptop now while she is sleeping.

Those will only help if your bottoming the keys. The whole point of having the detent, or bump, in the keystroke is so you don't have to bottom the keys. The rings make a lot more sense on keys without the bump.

If you want a to feel the bump but don't want the loud click, the browns are a much better choice.
