Sean, you always seem to have issues with posting links, I wonder if your browser hates you.

I don't watch much sports because my wife doesn't like them. But since she's working 3rd shift I've been watching the last couple World Series games.

Some of the statistics they keep boggle my mind.

"The batter is only hitting .157 with runners in scoring position after taking a first pitch strike from a right handed pitcher with the wind blowing in a southeasterly direction while wearing his red Nike shoes with black batting gloves and pink jock strap"

All that technology on the Vette and they still use vacuum assist braking.  LOL.

I took a pic of my cousin and her daughter. I could not have done it with my kit lens.

Worth every penny. I was getting worried the 70 would be too much zoom on a crop, but it is awesome.

Not my browser, the forum software. I have the same problem I think Adrian and others had.

And Drew, it wasn't my fail so laugh away. I posted the same thing over and over and even corrected my post through edit and it still fucked up. Finally gave up and posted a new one. Being a mod you can't see my edits, but they were there. And believe me, I am a computer spaz, but fucking up an "[ i m g ] [ / i m g ]" is not something I'd do multiple times in a row.

Funny because it happens to you the most.

I appreciate the pen related posts. I am so intrigued by industry and how it progresses.

I'm just bitching. Glad I can do it here. If I whined this much all day I wouldn't get shit done.

I don't know if I mentioned it, but one of the FNGs was at the bottom of our rankings. He spent a weekend with me and I tried to help him out.

He did good with some coaching, and then basically went from dead bottom to strong middle of the pack in one week. Then they gave him a promotion starting this next period.

That feels better than the bonus and the rest of the $$$ comming in for last month. He called to thank me and said he felt I was responsible for the turn around. It was better than Christmas. One of the other new ones, a young lady, got a promotion too. I'm Fucking amped for them.

The 6.5-55 and the .260 are so close to the 6.5 CM it's almost a moot point. The .260 is another great option but..... As you mentioned, not obscure enough.

I have a small obsession with the WSM cartridges too. For no good reason either. But they have less perceived recoil and a bit more efficiency than the regular magnums. I forget what I read as to why, but shorter fat cartridges perform better than long ones in general. So 7mmWSM sounds like a Fucking champ.

I have a 270WSM Tikka T3 Hunter. It is a fantastic round, but the twist rate on the Tikka is less than desirable for long range shooting.

The short fat cases offer a more complete burn in the case. While I like the WSM they are prone to chamber load issues because of the fat cases and relatively tiny pills.

The big long fuckers have loading issues too. Neither should in your case with a hunting set up and not a big magazine fed target rifle.

New bbl on the Tika?

I know, it's not the same as a new rifle.... But just a thought to save some bucks.

I can't seem to find barrels for the Tikka.

Still not working.

Actually, I had to laugh too. I can see Sean getting more and more frustrated at his keyboard.

... and the problem with this is what, exactly? I have driven every form of assisted braking, and done a significant amount of work on all of them as well (at my current shop we do a shit ton of work on hybrid and electric vehicles, so yes I work on hydro-electric/recumbent with nitrogen piston pedal assemblies, expensive pieces of shit). In my experience the very best feeling and most reliable assist is vacuum assist braking.

Hybrid braking systems feel completely jacked. I am aware of recumbent braking, but pedal feel is awful and it is not progressive in any sense of the word. Hydraulic assist is also not terribly progressive and overly dependent upon the pump and delivery subsystems integrity, and we all know how reliable power steering systems are. Hydro-electrical systems that we see on a lot of newer Toyotas, and have seen on GMs as far back as the 80s (my Grand National had the "hydroboost" hydro-electric assist unit on it) have a very good pedal feel, but they rely on nitrogen bladder accumulators that frequently fail and contaminate the fluid wiping out the pump in many cases. The Hydroboost on the GN (also common on a lot of the big Roadmasters of the late 80s and early 90s) failed religiously every 2 years at a cost... jobber cost, mind you, of $12-1400. I switched to vacuum assist after my 5th unit.
