And I just had these pants cleaned from Seth's posts.....
Haven't read it yet, but opened and saw the picture. Had the reveletion on Sunday that we are NOT selling our house in the next 4 months for sure which means perhaps I need to find a way to spend some $$ that is somewhat liquid in case we change our mind. And now you tempt me with a toy?

Less than a week after my BIL asked if I wanted to build an Fact5 818 in my garage if he paid for it. Wanted to split it. Lol.

I had deliberately rolled the windows down minutes earlier, simply to enjoy the exhaust note.

I've never heard a flat engine that sounded good.  This must be a joke.

Ever driven one that impressed you?

And my all time favorite winter car. SO MUCH fun to drive in shitty conditions. Just don't want to get walloped by some asshole in a Suburban.

I'm next door to a T-Mobile store and have one bar of 4glte. LoL

Mo-rans.

Going to be copping 6 day weeks for a while though. This job has too much attrition in the MN market. I bet this is a unique problem to this area.

why here?

Not many jobs that have a minimum of 46 hours a week that require significant sales skill, the ability to handle lots of problems from your boss and from clients, and does NOT guarantee more than 40k a year.

MN is littered with open spots for motivated people.

Especially if that job frequently requires 60 hour weeks.

Draw only months could be scary here. In places with lower cost of living I bet the pity pay stretches a lot further.

Some of these guys will hit 13000 last month, I had a really unimpressive last month however..... :(

If this month continues I will make up a little for last month. So many spiffs this month it's sick. We have promotions this month that allow me to move product for less than ever and make more $$$.

Thanks Rick. I hope I can keep my momentum. I lost a day and a half burned out and unable to close anything due to a sinus infection kinda thing.

Starting to feel better though. The rest of the days I have beat my budget. I made 12% of my stores monthly budget in one day actually. So my personal percentage to budget is way ahead of schedule. Just need to keep it up.

Not sure about the totals, but with the bigger spiffs I made 310 guaranteed extra for the month. I know I have more but it's hard to keep track without pulling a report. I might do just that next week.

American drop top J.Rag top 'stang GT or 'vette. They will be faster, less to fix and have more clout with anyone who knows. The boxer was made so rich husbands could buy their wife something without going to a different dealership.;)

Not worried about drop top. Just saw speed at a low price and said hmmmmJ
My old ass slow M5 would take a Boxster Turbo EASILY. Did from a dig, rolling 30, and 60-120. Walked at all speeds. Things is a turd. That one isn't even a Turbo. Your truck might out run it.

Considering the truck smoked the shit out of an 11 mustang earlier tonight without putting the pedal thru the floor, it wouldn't shock me.

Just needs better handling. When I can play in the curves it feels sloppier than I'd like.

Again, as usual thanks for the input guys.

J

I wonder what GOOD small format tweeters I can pair up the Extremis of Mach 5 MLI with? Extremis freq response looks clean up to 5k, so I assume if I can get a pair of tweeters to dig down to 1.6-2k I'm good.

Scan D2904 or Seas Neo are about your only choices. Outside of weird I-boutique brands which have popped some XBL tweets out.

Hot dang and the D2904 is kind of unavailable new. Guess I'll have to settle for the Seas Neo and try out mach 5 vs extremis, see which is better above 1k.

I didn't mean to discredit the neo options. I just haven't played with them.

I have but was not very experienced back then. Not hinting to a discredit just hoping to be able to pair them with the Extremis.

Realize that was confusing when I fuck up and type neo instead of XBL. I haven't played with the XBL'ers, might be fine.

HAH, time to look.

So I'm interested in getting a bike.. I was wanting to start off with an FZR6, I've been reading a lot and evidently it is a great starter bike. Essentially a detuned R6..

Drove a Nissan Leaf yesterday. That is just weird. I mean really fucking odd.

It came in with a misfire and exhaust leak.

Unless there is a really strong financial reason I would skip anything that isn't an R6.

My first bike was and is a CBR 954. It is nearly perfect.

It all depends on why you want a bike though. If you want to have fun, buy a sports bike. If you want a commuter, buy one. You can make an R6 more commuter friendly but making a commuter bike handle better is a god damn bitch.

The suspension on a race bike is fully adjustable. So you can tune it to your body with the factory parts.

Seriously. It becomes an extension of you.

An R6 would be annoying in traffic perhaps, but that is subjective. When moving from an R6 to it's little brother you loose; ~40% in horsepower, a huge amount of suspension(that is what you will really miss after you start riding more), style and clout, aftermarket and huge amount of parts, a built chassis vs tube steel humdrum tub, and 6000rpms. You sacrifice a lot.

Bikes are the worst thing to compromise on because you cannot just tune up a commuter and expect it to even hold a candle to a full on sports bike. Of course a good rider(also read lighter rider) can outpace A newb on the track in a slower bike, but this isn't like cars. Geometry and frame make a much much bigger impact.

I can help a lot more if you want. When I was younger I spent a huge part of my life completely emersed in the bike community. Not a lot of track time, but some autocross like runs, for bikes and I has had my bike as my only vehicle so it was my livelihood on top of my toy. Most of my advice is pragmatic but I can help with the technical stuff too, depending on what you need info on. But friends don't let friends buy 'tweener bikes.
