$3k should net you a custom made unit though if you want.

$160 for the shirt, $600 for pants and $1200 for the coat.

If you TRULY want to buy and it is a sole purpose you might as well make it fit and pick your own fabric.

My grandpa found out at a yearly check up he has leukemia. He's 78 years old. Doctors said he may have had it for years. hasn't progressed one bit over the past few months

I'm glad it hasn't progressed, but sorry to hear the news.

Suit people, I need some ideas for wedding tux. Something "casual" looking like a 007 Tom Ford suit. Budget is around 3k each from head to toe. I know NOTHING about attire besides blue jeans and t-shirts.

I'm not sure I understand. Casual but a tuxedo? Usually the James bond tux style is the pinical of fashion. Extreme formal. Do you have a picture of what you want?

The budget of 3k each means $3000 for each suit and you want more than one?

I will say this, with 3000 bucks, depending on your area you could probably have a bespoke suit made to your measurements.

I guess I worded that wrong. I want a tux that doesn't look like a Wedding tux. As if I were at a formal gathering people would not say why in the hell did he wear a wedding tux to the party.

Per each, we are getting married at the biltmore and I'm paying for the groomsmen's attire as well.

Defiantly looking for something custom fitted.

The ole lady likes something like this

5a7342206772498a4d71b78e2ed33c9f.jpg

Extremely fitted. The coat is really narrow at the waist. The shoulders are not padded much as Daniel is really really really fit.

If you are shaped like him it will be easy to duplicate. Get a narrow fitted single breasted barely padded coat. That looks like a one button to me.

If you are not shaped like Daniel but are really thin and lean, the style can be faked. If you are portly, it can still be done. You will however be unbearably uncomfortable.

I think I understand you request now. Formal but no my tacky like most wedding suits. That is #1 fabric, and it will cost $. The second is fit. That will cost you more $$$.

A 3000 per suit budget is completely reasonable. Do you have any fine clothiers in your area?

I would honestly even consider completely custom cut for that price. A round trip ticket to get fitted at a premier tailor might still fit within your budget. :-)

I am envious either way. I could never wear a suit that is that well made and look as good.

we are about the same size proportionally.  I'm 5' 4". As fit as him but a bit leaner in the waist.  I do have some fat people in the wedding so that'll have to be addressed.  The ole lady's dress may be this one if not will be something similar.

I live close to New Orleans so I,m sure there are a few around here.  But like you say a trip for tailoring wouldnt be out of the question.  I defiantly want either tailored or custom cut if in the budget.  The budget is 15k for myself and 4 groomsmen.

pucking protein shake bottles. I swore the lid was shut. Starting shaking and shit flew everywhere in the kitchen.

Been there, done that haha.

What protein do you take? Ive been having a hard time finding protein that actually agrees with my stomach. Most just are heavy and make me sick

I take NOW whey isolate. It's unflavored and mixes well in water. You shouldn't have any problems with it. I bought 10 lbs of some cheaper whey isolate from true nutrition and it made me sick to my stomach like you said.

I used to take muscle milk with milk and that was Ok, but just way too many calories/sugar. Mixing most protein shakes with water IMO is terrible.

The company I work for has one of the most prestigious independent commodity labs in the world.  I did some testing a while back on several stuff I had and compared it the True Nutrition whey isolate.  It isn't that it was cheaper.  It is because it is easier absorbed in the body.  The absorption rate is what makes it irritating.  Normally after a few days or couple of weeks your body will adjust.  Out of the 4 or 5 protiens tested the True nutrition had the highest protien content with the best absorption rate.

What I mean by highest Protein is that even though the bottle says 100% protein it is NOT.  There is water content in the bottle.  The True Nutrition was around 15% while the others were in the 25%  water content area.  This is why whenever a Protein level is listed during the sale of a commodity the protein or fat, or whatever is stated per a moisture content percentage.

Okay I take that back, it wasn't their isolate, it was their "Whey Protein Concentrate - High Grade." I could mix 20g in water, and fifteen minutes later I'd feel queasy. With the NOW whey isolate I'd regularly mix 50g+ at one time with zero issues. I tried the TN stuff for about a week straight, like you said maybe if I continued I'd have adjusted, but it wasn't cool working out, getting queasy, and not being able to eat for the next hour or so.

Sure you really want to drop $15k on tux's? I didn't even spend that much on my whole wedding...

I am all about having a big day, but whether you spent $3k or $15k your memories won't be all that different.

I agree.  We've been together for 13 years and have been saving for 10 so we have a budget of 100k for everything.  It's disposable that doesn't interfere with with our savings, retirement, or current financial needs.

To me the bang for the buck I wouldn't skimp on are the shirts. Custom pleats & collar will do more for the look than anything.
