The image resizing forum thingy doesn't seem to work for me. It used to fit big images on the screen so you don't have to scroll.

Let's see. . . . Will the 458 depreciate enough over the next 10 years to be around the 150K mark?

while I should never "have to" get at the back of the Nexus once mounted, I may want/need to. Trying to think of slick ways of making the panel "quick" release. Obviously compounded a bit by not having the car or knowing what it looks like yet.

is there any concern with battery damage from heat?

Have enough of a power supply that the battery will hardly be used. I live in MN by the way. The difficulty here would be cold killing the battery.

Well there is an issue with that, I've seen a few ipad installs most tablets will not turn on until they are cooled off from the heat of the car baking in the sun. Not sure if the Minnesota summers are that hot, but it could be an issue.
Ipads are pieces of shit

Slightly random? I didn't watch it..due to the audio quality bs of youtube. And the fact that I have everything that was ever released that he recorded. Any particular reason that was a must watch?

Nope.  No need.

ANd I shouldn't have said everything that was released. Just everything that was released before 1996.

Including albums from Japan & UK that weren't available here, but then again I can't guarantee all of those as I don't speak Japanese.

Never seen anyone complain of that in a fixed install and over the past month or so I've seen an awful lot of them. Guess I'll find out. Mine will never shut off though, just go to sleep
