Auto buying, the hardest purchase to make.

J

Wait until you have to find a girlfriend for your girlfriend.

Pshaw, finding a normal girlfriend is difficult enough, finding one for another woman is probably insanity.

And if a purchase no matter the cost or merchandise "hurts" then that person has no business making the purchase.

hmm, it hurts when I spend $50 on dinner

Car shutting off while driving, electrical equipment shutting off and coming back on. Found to be a bad computer module. It's a sport sedan that drives comfortably even on the 22's. definatly a nice car if priced right. It is a 6 year old car after all. I personally wouldn't own a luxury import that old due to mechanical costs. I'd rather pay a note than have the risk of having to pay 2k for a brake job and service or 3k for a transmission repair. But that's just my personal preference. If the electrical wouldn't have been under warranty it would have cost me over 6k in parts and labor.

So you'd rather take a 30% depreciation the first year than buy a 6 year old car that is done depreciating? That hurts at 70k+
A vehicle especially a luxury vehicle is just that, a luxury. I don't buy used speakers or used golf clubs so I can not be upside down when Im done with them. A luxury vehicle or sports car is the same way.
aren't you about to get a USED viper?

Ha, that is company money. I spend a lot more than that on wine alone with dinner. Help I spent more than that on lunch at the airport 20 minutes ago

Yes but there is a difference between a car that has 10k mileshas no nannies that gets driven ~5k a year plus track time that I can buy an entire tremic for for 4 grand that will have ~90k power train warranty versus a car that is 6-7 years old has nearly no if any warranty and cost 3.5 k to change a clutch and 2k for a brake job.

By the way my '11 Audi was used with 1,200 miles on it with full warranty. I didn't say I was stupid.

I guess someone needs to inform dodge, chevy, and Ford that the few million Tremics they sold aren't up to par.

Just wish It ran in linux

I sort of want to go back to programming under Linux. Much nicer tools and features in C compared to what Windows offers.
