I know of 2 people who bought sleep numbers, and both returned them. When I got sick I was bed ridden for months, and we bought a TempurPedic. I can't sleep on a traditional mattress anymore.

That's what in thinking about trying. I like the sleep number bc I like a soft bed. But bc I end up in the center of the bed. They have some foam between the two bladders and after a few days it will start to sag. Then I have to open the mattress and readjust it. If I slept like a normal person on my side of the bed I'd have no complaints.

Just doing Ford 5.4 spark plugs...

I'd say they are pulling heads or the engine. It takes longer to yank the cab than it does for me to do a plug and coil change on one of these... It is typically and hour and a half job.

Yeah the guy who posted it just used that thread title to piss off a few people,

Tempurpedic is probably the most loved of everything we sell. They do a fantastic job. The massively feeble and elderly sometimes have problems because they cradle you so well. It makes it harder to get out of for them.

That is really about the only problem.

The other advantage is they can be put on an adjustable base better than any other brand. For some people the adjustable base is more important than the top mattress. People with sleep apnea, poor circulation, diabetes, RLS, acid reflux, spine/neck fusions or compressions or any problem really.

I would rather get them into an adjustable base and then find a mattress. Tempur makes the most sense though.

Long term you would. Since we are all friends to a degree I will say it. Sleep number blows. They are unsupportive and have some many long term problems that they don't cover it is insane.

I don't talk bad about them in my shop, but I wouldn't want a friend to buy one.

Tempur just came out with a mattress with the adjustable sides like sleep number. I think it is a bit embarrassing that they did that. Personally it is tough for me to love, so I spent a day on it, and what I can say is that it's construction is a million times better than the other guys and they don't have that hard bar down the middle that you hate.

It also has real tempur material. It is different than other viscoelastic/memory foams. For what ever reason no other company uses anything that comes close in feel.

We sell all the top brands. I wish we carried Kings Down, as I love their products, but they are a bit of a problem brand. What we have is really well groomed to have no issues.

I will spend some time on the new "choice" from tempur today, right in the middle, and give you my thoughts.

I hope I sell so much I don't have much time on it, but I suspect it may be slow since yesterday was bonkers.

No there is no hard bar. Just a high density foam. So if you lay in the middle of the bed on a soft setting it is exactly like setting two portable blow up mattresses together and laying on top of where they are together. It's just bad design.

They have a place here that sells Tempur. We looked at one a few weeks ago and they had one that was nice. It had some type of pillow top material on top that was nice and soft. If I recall it was around 3,400 for the king.

I cannot find a true well made Dunlop or talalay mattress in the twin cities. Some with a thin layer. Latex is so damn spendy right now.

Aside from what I sleep on the most comfortable bed ever was a latex bed. It was heaven.

They are price mapped but if you go to a mattress firm they might have some in clearance or floor model that could save you big big bucks. The Alura is the only true pillow top. The Alura cloud isn't as good as the firmer of the 2 but it comes down to your comfort.

If it helps at all, the sales staff sleep on the cloud lux almost 3:1 for those who can afford it. Probably the most awarded bed on our floor too.

Part of me feels bad for all the angels they have to kill to make the beds with their feathers.... But when I sleep it's worth every cherub.

It makes sense. Rayon is fantastic feeling. I get so hot and sweaty it might not work for me. But knowing they don't suck makes me feeel better.

Tempur sells them on their website and it shocked me that they would use it.

Remote Desktop search.

Don't need access outside of my house or network, but I'd like to virtually run my desktop on my laptop without going to the desktop. I can get around "needing" to do this, but for some applications it'll save me a big hassle.

Lappy is win 8 and desktop 7

I sleep in the middle of the bed as well, and I HATE sleeping with someone else in the bed.
